Room was small and basic. If you want a cheap, no frills place to stay this is it.

Great condition. Poor cleaning.

The hotel was in pretty great condition for its age, but I won't be returning due to the cleanliness. Overall the room was clean, but if you looked closely you can tell that they merely surface clean and don't deep clean. Dust covered the blinds and windowsill. Sewage smell was coming from the shower drain. Refrigerator smelled bad. Room was so hot when we first entered.

Last place to look for.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Bed size, breakfast, A/C unit, TV provider. At least I learned never to sign up for Time Warner.
Location: Everything is fairly close. Our time was spent up and down the beaches.
Maybe if the bed was large enough for two adults it would help. It was hot for the time we were there so the A/C was used but not much. Could not sleep with it on, too noisy. Staff was fine and as with all of CA you need to be able to speak spanish. We stayed because of there pet policy.

Adequate, nothing more. Cleanliness was fine, and I think I would have been all right with this for a night or two, but after a week, it got old. Room was small and lacked plugs. Many channels were not to be found on the tv. Internet was spotty, and had to be signed into each time we got on. Bathroom was SMALL and lacked a place to spread out over an extended stay...no towel racks, only one hook. Nowhere for guests to sit in the room, except on the bed. Breakfast was minimal...blah pastries and cereals, nothing fancy at all. No pool, which we knew about going in, but, with the three digit heat, would have been appreciated. Staff not terribly interested in your comfort...one morning at breakfast, the desk clerk (although, in fairness, perhaps it isn't her job) watched me wipe off the dirty table with water from the carafe and a napkin. The plus side was that the air conditioning worked well during the heat wave, the parking was close and plentiful, and that it's pretty centrally located to both PB and the freeway. I'd recommend this place to someone looking for a short budget stay...we are sorry we didn't spring for a few more dollars to upgrade to a nicer place for the week's stay.

The Room

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: The price
Cons: the way your company cleans its rooms and property
When we first checked in the lady at the front wasn't very friendly. then we get to our room and at first glance it looked clean but then when I went into the bathroom I started to see those long skinny flying bugs. after my husband killed those for me I saw there was grease marks on the TV and then noticed the same kind of grease marks on the headboard of the bed. the ceiling looked like something had exploded in the sink and hit the roof and was just never cleaned. the hotel is hard to get in and out of if you are going a certain way if your going north you can turn right into the parking lot but if you are going south you have to go past it and then do a U turn onto traffic that is merging off of the I.5 or if you are wanting to turn left out of the parking lot that is also a problem since there are cars on the street and you cant see around them with cars flying at you at about 65mph.

Not great, but price was right

Pros: The staff was very friendly.
Cons: Rooms need to be updated. Fix the basics, toilet, air conditioner, bedsheets.
Location: Location was not near any of the attractions, so will need a car.
The room was not very clean. Toilet seat was falling off. No conditioner. The bed posts stuck out making all of us trip. Breakfast was very poor. The furniture was very old and stained. The bed sheets were smaller than the bed which caused them to come off during the night. The air conditioner was incredibly loud. But the price was the best in the area for our large family.

Cons: Should be cleaner. Not all supplies were restocked when the room was cleaned.
Location: Very centrally located.
A little rough. If you need a centrally located place to stay and are not particular.....

very pleasant staff convenient to everything priced very reasonable. I do recommend this place to anybody not expecting a five star hotel but just a decent place to stay on your visit. Ps: to the front desk young lady thank you for the extra pillow!:-)

Pros: Location.
Cons: Old bedding with stains - Old building that looks like they tried to cover up and make look new.
Motel was old. Could tell had painted and tried to make look better but can see the "old" underneath. Bathroom old. Bedding old with stains. Was worth less than 100.00/night and I paid 206.00 for one night.
