Very friendly people, had a nice stay. Parking was slightly difficult, due to limited spaces.

Great time for the price. Homeless people walking near the hotel but overall felt safe. Staff was awesome. Basic room. Can't beat the location.

Pros: Location
The front desk staff was helpful when I first checked in. I needed more shower towels so I called the front desk, and the staff came to my room with the towels about 5 or 10 minutes later. Though the exterior isn't that appealing and there's smell of smoke, the room itself is clean, especially the bathroom which is pretty important to me. A downside is that it is right next to the room so you can hear traffic from the room.

Do not stay here!

Posted Dec 17, 2014
Front desk staff not professional at all, there were 3 guys behind the front desk and out of all 3 only one worked there the other two were just friends of the employee they were just there watching the football game with him. The room was disgusting, there were roaches and bed bugs, the toilet wasn't flushed had urine around rim. The hotel is surrounded by homeless, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I didn't even stay in the room, I checked out right away and lost my money since I booked it through Expedia. Worst experience I ever had.

Okay stay

Pros: The staff was friendly.
Cons: The improvements that can be made are the curtains and the bedding. The curtains had small holes and the bedding is out dated.
Location: The location is right off the freeway so leaving the driveway can be a bit tricky with oncoming traffic.
Monica was wonderful. She helped with check in and was very friendly. She help with cab service too. As for the room, it was just okay. If your looking for luxury then this place is not for you. The room had a weird smell. I had to open the door and the window to air it out. The only way I would stay here again is if there is absolutely no other hotel with vacanacy.

WEEKEND STAY

Posted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: The location.
Cons: Replacing carpets.
Location: Close to restaurants, gas station, McDonald & express ways.
The staff was friendly and very professional. The location is excellent, restaurants and groceries are within walking distance. The price matches the quality and services. I would strongly recommend the professional cleaning of the carpets or replacing them to attract more customers.

Not very nice.

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: Close to Downtown/Gaslamp
Cons: Hire security to patrol the property to help guests feel more secure.
The room was very small but for some reason the bathroom was huge. The area around the hotel had a lot of homeless people; I was worried our car would get broken into. There was no closet and the room smelled like an entire bottle of Pine Sol was used to clean it.

we are sorry for the inconvinience of your stay, but also to understand is that anywhere you visit a downtown area, you will see homeless people and we cannot do anything about them camping out on the city property as longest they stay out of our property and we havent had any problems with homeless braking in to any of our cars here there is someone here monitoring hallways and parking lots 24/7 and make sure that our guest are safe and there vehicules are secure and thank you for the awareness of the air freshner will be less limited use in our rooms . :)
