Convenient San Diego hotelPosted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: The staff was very nice, self-parking worked well, the room was a spacious, and the on-site restaurant and gift shop were convenient.
Location: It's San Diego - one of the greatest cities in the world. A new find on this trip was Richard Walker's Pancake House on Front Street.
We stayed at this hotel near the airport while attending a conference at the Convention Center downtown. Luckily, the meeting provided a shuttle from the hotel to the Center. The nautical theme of the hotel is appropriate, as it sits right on the marina. Our room was in the Bay Tower building which is not the main hotel building. If I stayed there again, I'd ask for the Marina tower, which is bigger, has a much nicer pool area, and more places to eat.

Nice hotel but felt a little gouged..Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: views, restaurant was good, convenient to downtown and marina
The hotel itself was nice, with beautiful marina and waterway views as well as the San Diego skyline. It's situated right behind the airport but there was barely any noise. We travel a lot, both east and west, but really felt this property gouged a little too much. $24 for dirt lot parking was a little exorbitant, on top of "resort fees". And you have no choice but to pay that, as there is no other parking option whatsoever on or off property. We had a little dog with us, so add on another $35 per day just for that. Of course the standard in-room mini bar fees applied, but nearly $13 per day if you needed wi-fi was pretty ridiculous. It was a better deal to turn my phone into a hot spot to work. Like I said, nice property but we wouldn't stay again just because of all the extras.

This Hotel was HORRIBLE!!! No Microwave No Refrigerator wifi cost $11.99. For the amount of $$$ a person pays. They should have all these for FREE!!!

You get what you pay for. Hotel hallways are dirty. We didn't get the room we paid for.

We have stayed here numerous times and have always enjoyed our stay. Hotel staff are always fantastic and make you feel very welcome. Close to many activities to do in town. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Nice hotel. Friendly staffPosted Apr 13, 2015
Experience was great! The room was very nice. But I found a half used shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Other than that, it was good.

An Airport Hotel, Not a Marina propertyPosted Apr 11, 2015
If you're expecting to be at the Marina with the Mariott, Hyatt, etc, don't expect that with this hotel. This is an airport property.
