Nice hotel on the beach and next to the pier.

Posted Feb 25, 2015
The hotel had bikes and beach toys for guest use which was super convenient. There was an outdoor restaurant on the beach less than a block away with delicious and reasonably priced food. If you are lucky enough to get an ocean side room it would be delightful. I called numerous times to request an ocean view but we ended up with a corner room and although we could see the ocean from the living room it wasn't ideal. The furniture was not arranged to take in the limited view.

Suggestion

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Wonderful beach view.
Cons: It would be very nice if there were a few dog-friendly rooms available. We often travel with our pooch and he had to sleep in the truck that night.
Very nice place, well located, etc. OK, I don't really want to spend too much time promoting their hotel but apparently I need more words, so, blah blah blah blah blah. If that doesn't do it I quit!

Beautiful location

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: It location was amazing and it staff was super helpful.
Cons: The ceiling fan in my room did not work but since I picked this room over another I did not see a reason to complain,
Location: The building is extremely close to the peir and also within walking distance of some great places to eat.
The front desk was extremely helpful upon check in. The showed me both rooms that were available and let me pick which one I wanted.

Bu far our favorite place to stay. Hotel staff goes above and beyond to make everything perfect. Great location, right on the water. Rooms are updated and comfortable. Beds and bedding are cozy. We will be staying again, and again! Make sure to hit The Breakfast Club just up coast highway, great food and great service too!

Nice Timeshare/Hotel

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Wierd dog smell in room. Some sort of on-site pantry for grocery essentials
Location: Walking on beach/pier. Lounge/BBQ on site.
Overall, a great experience. 1. Right on the sand, walking to pier, etc. 2. Very nice, roomy area - separate bedroom which made having a toddler easier. 3. Everything in good shape, comfy bed and couch 4. Good service, friendly staff. A couple minor issues 1- Room had a strange, almost wet-dog smell to it. We had the windows open most of the time we were there, so this made it a non-issue. I didn't bother to complain as I knew it was full - and we had an ocean (partial) that I didn't want to have to give up. 2 - (just a warning) Rooms have a very nice full kitchen -but local stores are at last a mile away, which means another car trip. And, parking isn't exactly easy. So - get your food on the way.

Close to the beach, Hot, Smokers

Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: Close to beach
Cons: Air conditioning, enforce rules, new equipment
No air conditioning, neighbors kept smoking and the smoke would come into our living room and all the windows were open because it was so hot (no air conditioning). We called the front desk 6 times to report the smoking, and they did absolutely nothing. It is very noisy unless you are on the top floor. Our ceiling was actually directly beneath the upper roof deck which was occupied early in the morning and late at night. There are lots of shady characters hanging out around this area of downtown Oceanside. If you want to sleep in forget it. There is a daily Jumba class that kicks off in the neighboring park ramada early in the morning. The BBQ's rarely worked because they kept covering the burners with foil for ease of cleaning (probably not recommended by the manufacturer). The equipment for the beach was thrashed and should be replaced. All in all, we will not go back and will not recommend this place.

Amazing Oceanside Property

Posted Sep 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was an amazing place to stay. We had a 2 bdrm, 2 story beautiful condo right on the ocean. And the price was fantastic! Walking on the beach every morning and night was awesome. This place is very clean and attentive to your needs. They have all kinds of equipment and toys at your disposal for no extra charge (bikes, boogie boards, sand buckets, umbrellas, beach chairs.) I can't rate this place high enough. Will be our place to stay on our next California trip!

On the beach.

Posted May 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
We only stayed one night at this hotel to recuperate from going to theme parks. I just love staying on the beach, walked the pier and ate at Rubys diner. There was a street market going on that we walked to with alot of neat booths selling items and food, Watched the sunset from our balcony. The room was very clean and decorated very beachy. It was set up more like an apt. style with full kitchen, living room, bedroom etc. wich we did not really use for our one night stay but would be perfect if we had stayed the whole week. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
