Convenient and clean

Pros: Location, availability on short notice and friendly staff.
Cons: Sound barrier between rooms and levels. Can hear people moving around and talking outside.
Location: Very close to mall and shopping. Easy access from freeway.
Great for weary travelers, staff was accommodating and pleasant.

Pros: Good price, well furnished.
A good cheap hotel. The room was well furnished for the price range, it even had a refrigerator and microwave that we did not ask for or expect for that price. The location was pretty good, it was close to a shopping center and plenty of restaurants.

Pros: Cheap and clean
Cons: the pillows were hard
Location: El Cajon is off the tourist track which is nice.
The hotel was not flash but it had everything we needed. We stayed for 2 weeks and the room was cleaned every day. The only thing I didn't like was the pillows (they were very hard/flat) and the office did not have extra pillows when I asked. It was a good cheap, clean place to stay.

Pros: Creaking elevator that jumped when it started up or down.
Cons: Noisy bathroom door; light leaks into room from outside at night. Elevator starts with jump.
Location: Near Freeway but quiet.
Door to bathroom grinds when opened. Hinge is loose and door appear to be falling off. Elevator reeks of tobacco smell. People were helpful in straitening out screw-up on reservation. Calling the pool a pool is sort of a stretch as appears to be about a 8 x 8 pool.

i booked 2 double queen rooms in this area to be close to my sister who lives half a mile from super 8. im not a motel person but after checking out the rooms i agreed to book 4 nights. it worths every penny i spent coz i got it with discount. very clean room, clean/new carpet, comfortable beds, big size room.well equipped new samsung tv, microwave, mini fridge, safe(didn't find it in holiday inn la mesa) , iron, AC. and good breakfast as well.

For the price of the room flat screens should be included and the breakfast was like jail breakfast . Best western is way better.
