Decent place!

Apart from the bed being soft or worn out I experienced no problems here. Very nice room. Shopping was close too.

Create difficulties for Guests

Posted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: Breakfast and room facilities and size of room was comfortable.
Cons: Staff attitude and trust the guests.
Location: Location is good but there is no grocery store or restaurants nearby.
The staff gets complete data of credit card from guest even if paid the charges in advance. They get certificate signed by the guest to charge in case of breakage etc. I was being charged $ 15 for a stain on a bed sheet ( even the price of a new bedsheet is less than $ 15). I told the staff that it was an old and permanent stain which I had not done but they did not trust me. Such big hotel but they disturb the guests for pity things. And even when the room is clear the staff still keeps the signed certificate , they can charge the guest later for anything on the pretext of damage etc. the breakfast is good, room is comfortable with all the facilities like refrigerator, microwave, iron etc. but they need to trust the guests and avoid inconvenience to the guests for small things.

The room was smaller than I thought it would be.

Hotel und super Anbindung

Posted Jun 26, 2015

It is what it is..it's not the Hyatt

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: The location is perfecto. Right by the freeway access to 163, 8 etc. Trolly across the street (a bit of a hike). Rooms cleaned daily when I returned.
Cons: WIFI is crap. TV reception sketchy on some channels but I wasn't there to watch TV. Change the smoking areas to smoking floors or sections!
Location: Trolly right across the circle.takes you anywhere for 5$ all day. Park and Go enjoy. Freeway access perfect. Mission Beach is 10 minute drive if that.
3 nights for some leisure & campus visits around SD. Been to just about all the hotels on the circle. I've been at better and been at FAR worse. Checked in 3pm. Usual chaos with foreign tourists, locals shenanigans (a guest trying to sneak an extra day-clerk knew his name) people w/room changes etc.To be expected for a $60 / night hotel. Desk had 3 associates and all did their best to deal with this barrage. I got my room, 2nd floor facing the rear lot. The beds looked newer and linens crisp .Did a quick 'search' and was satisfied. Some furnishings were a bit outdated &could use some new carpet soon but ehhh so what.A plug in the wall that didn't work but there were 12 others. Fridge/ micro perfect to store my essentials. Bathroom clean w / toilette goodies. Breakfast:CROWDED grab n' go.It's continental.I made a waffle each day, grabbed a apple, yogurt and had some juice.Simple.There's a couple cereal dispensers, toast and pastries. And the dreaded "egg patty and sausage" pans. Again, if you're looking for more you're at the wrong type of place. BAD: wifi is horrendous. If you're there for work and you need wifi ?Screwed. You'll get disconnected all the time.Parking at night is a challenge since many people can't figure out what the little white lines all over the lot are for. A few stray people meandering around late dumpster diving.I was up and gone by 8am and back at 10pm.It served its purpose and I'd stay there again. Can't beat the location for beach, trolley etc.
