DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!
Posted Jan 7, 2013
Pros: It was next to a Starbucks
Cons: Tear it down and start over!!!
Location: Horrible location in an alley with no view. Next to Starbucks and stores.
We were highly disappointed with this less than desirable motel. The website and pictures for Super8 are very misleading. This was basically a dive!! Remodeling on the entire first floor meant lots of noise, banging sounds, and dust. The rooms were horrible! Musty smelling and dirty. We had no washcloths and when we ask they said they were out. The 'free' internet was non-existent and the basic cable only had a few stations that would come in clearly. On our second day the toilet started leaking and ran water out over the bathroom floor. All of this plus a very sketchy location in an alley. No view whatsoever and yards away from several strip clubs. The ONLY nice thing I can say... there was a Starbucks right next door!!!

Felt unsafe there
Posted Jan 4, 2013
Strange people, parking and room entrance from the dirty, industrial street side. I stayed a week before in SD Sea World Inn which is 3 streets away. It was cheaper and I felt much more safe. As a plus I have to mention WIFI and fast service (not much paperwork). Nevertheless I can't recommend this one as it was one of the worst motels I've been to.

Keep Driving

I checked in this hotel at around 345 p.m. and I checked out by 1030 p.m. Bad smell in the room. Hair dryer didn't work for my wife and when we pulled the sheets back there was body hairs all over the sheets. I should have kept driving.

Not Satisfied

This was our worse stay ever, Air conditioners were not working, the sensor lights in the bathroom went out every few seconds inspite of being inside. When showering one had to come out and wave at the lights in the dark to turn them on.Lady at the reception was not at all helpful, for everything she would answer talk to the manager and he was not there.Breakfast room did not have water to drink, ironically they offered tea, how is one supposed to have tea without water??..this place sucks.

Disappointing stay
Posted Jan 26, 2012
Pros: The availability of smoking rooms
Cons: The lack of facilities
Location: Convenient location for shops and local attractions, but there were a number of vagrants living locally.
The hotel had had a recent flood and all the downstairs rooms were shut. The swimming pool was unusable and there was no breakfast available as the kitchen was out of use. The hotel was in a convenient location for shops and local attractions, but there were a number of vagrants living locally.

Could of been better

When getting to the hotel. I asked if we could have a first floor room. The hotel was unable to accommodate us do to the first floor being renovated for flood damage. Strike 1. Second, the pool was unavailable for reason unknown and it was drained. Strike 2, Thrid, the hotel was not serving breakfest, again for reason not given to us. Strike 3. I guess you get what you pay for. I just wish we would of called ahead to find out. We would of never stayed if we knew this before hand.
