“Wished we could of stayed longer!”

Our room was great. We had a great view of the ocean. We kept our balcony door open all night just to hear the surf at night. We were a little concern about the security leaving the balcony door open since there was no locks on the screen and everyone on your floor that had a room could walk around on the balcony.

“Surfer beach”

if you get the first floor you wont have a view, but considering all the close shops and the nice neighborhood along with being less than 20 yards from the beach sand it is an excellent stay. The room I got was small, but I wasn't ther to stay inside the hotel room, we were there for the beach. Despite the proximity to water, the room had no mold and no "wet" smell to it. People were friendly and there is a restaurant on site. I definently will go again.

“Awesome location!”

Great customer service. Room had a great view of Boardwalk and ocean. Great people watching and walks on the beach. Room was sparse, but comfortable. Older strucure has been renovated, bathrooms could use a little work. Overall great location & hotel for the money. We plan to go back.

“Best Value for the Greatest Location”

Pacific Beach was a wonderful place to stay to see San Diego. It was 10 Minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. The Hotel was very nice, with a great location. The staff was kind and attentive. There was great food and shopping well within walking distance, in fact one of the best restaurants on the beach is attached to the Hotel. Positively a great value.

“Two thumbs up.....WAY UP!!”

Got a smokin' deal thru Expedia in the winter time. Would definately go back and pay summer time rates. Perfect location, friendly staff & best of all, it was squeaky clean!!

Great deal, great view(s), nice people. I can't wait to return and I will stay here! Nice job on updating the old hotel! Rooms are a little small but comfortable and clean. What else could you want? And the view from the balcony...well, amazing. Close to everything .

“Great Location”

The place is right off the beach. we went in november and the temp was low 70's high 60's... just wonderful! we are from the new orleans area where the weather is always hot and humid so being in san diego where the weather is this nice all the time was great. however, we were taken aback due to the lack of central h/a... but as the manager explained, this place was built many many years before, and although renovated, the hotel didnt get h/a. there is a heater in the room, and a box fan.. we left the windows open to the balcony and it was plenty cool with the fan and outdoor temp. the standing shower was small, very cramped but did the job (if you are not 250+). but it was right off the beach, walking distance to everything in pacific beach. i love love loved it for the price and local. but i have stayed in better.

“Best on Pacific Beach”

Price is high but worth it for the location. Where the locals hang out and right next to the Open Bar.

“Great value by the beach”

Great visit. Great value by the beach and Mission Bay. The staff was helpfull and efficient. Lots to do in the area. We would recommend this hotel to anyone that doesn't require the five star hotel experience.
