“Great getaway from the Yuma heat.”

From the moment we drove into the Resort the treatment was 1st Class. The valet attendent to the Groundskeepers the Housekeeping employees were all friendly and wanted to provide any service they could. The Restaurants were great and very reasonably priced. I am already planning my next trip. We checked in on Friday and checked out on Sunday and we never left the resort as there are so many things to do.

“Family Vacation”

We brought our 2 and 5 year-olds to the lodge for a holiday vacation. Although it is a quiet hotel suitable for couples and golfers, the staff treated our kids with courtesy and respect. The rooms are a little dated, but their size and cleanliness make up for it. If you're going to stay at the Lodge, spend time in La Jolla and Del Mar. We spent less time in San Diego this trip and had just as good of a time at the beach in Del Mar (as opposed to Coronado).

We love torrey pines!!!Great service!!!everyone from the front desk,bellmen,food service,these people take great care of you,then they remember your name during your stay!!!You know then you are staying in a hotel that is a 5 diamond award for the past 10 years.Built in 2000 it has an early 1900's craftman feel.Never have stayed at a cleaner place ever,and we have been to some nice places.The A.R. Valentien was a wonderful place for dinner and Chef Jackson sending out little extras,for you to try,during your dinner!!!!What a nice touch.Paul Krikorian,is the service manager at the valentien,very nice man who go out of his way to meet,greet,and to make sure that your stay at the lodge is top self.This was my first trip to calif. and i will be back!!I was surpised that most the golfers that play there WALK,we southerns should try it more.Get a good night sleep,and bring your A game for the south course.Wonderful views of the ocean on the north and south.great resort..Spa is great also!!!

This is a very nice hotel, located in a beautiful area, well maintained. The customer service was excellent and the food was good.

“A great pick for golf lovers or craftsmen!”

Overall the Lodge was wonderful. We don't play golf but stayed there b/c of our interest in the Greene & Greene craftsman architecture the hotel is modeled after. Even though we don't golf, the grounds are absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. I literally saw a grounds keeper remove a pine cone from a walkway less than 3 minutes after it fell! The on site restaurants were also great. Prompt service, quality food, friendly staff and very professional. They have a wonderful saline pool and hot tub that overlooks the golf course and ocean that was breathtaking. The only complaint I would have is the wait to check in / check out. Both times there was only one person working the front desk and we had to wait b/c that person also had to field the phone calls coming in, and address the two sets of people ahead of us. Also we had some issues with the mini bar. We NEVER took anything from the mini-bar, only used it to store our leftovers from dinner and our own drinks but there were charges on our bill. I was impressed that they were very apologetic and swift about removing the charges though once we explained we did not eat / drink anything. (We didn't even have a mini-bar key the first day there which is when the charges were from). Overall a great stay and we will definitely go back!

The only problem I can think of, is that if I dont do my reservations with time I might not find a room here.... The service is superb, so are the rooms and restaurants. Wish all hotels were like this.

Other than the difficulty accessing the Grill (which is very inconvenient), our experience at Torrey Pines was great.

“All Inclusive Perfection!”

This is THE BEST place we have ever had the pleasure to stay at ...EVER! The resort is absolutely beautiful and extremely relaxing with plenty of fun things to do and see in gorgeous downtown La Jolla after the complementary limousine service driver drops you off (he will pick you up also!). The employees were all very courteous and efficient. The food and room service were awesome and the spa was incredible!
