Hotel was nice and clean. On the overall decor it lacked a little personality. Very basic.

Great staff and great location!Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: As above.
Cons: Free Wifi access (or cheaper), bigger gym, improved food.
Location: Great location!
Location is in the middle of all the restaurants and shops in Gaslamp and even sits right next to a very nice outdoor mall. The hotel has very nice facilities, although the pool and gym are on the small side, they are well kept. I would rate the hotel between a 4 and 5, but that was not an option. Only areas of improvement: smallish gym, food is not that great and wifi is not included and quite expensive. The staff are wonderful!

Good locationPosted May 3, 2015
Nice location in the downtown and close to bars, clubs in Gaslamp, also next to a big mall. Rooms are decent, rather small, very nice sheets.

Poor service from housekeeping.Posted May 1, 2015
Despite assurances that we could get more towels if we accepted their "green " policy of not cleaning our room after the first night, the phone number to services was constantly busy (off the hook). Thus, no clean towels for our second night.

Cons: Front desk staff
The room was comfortable and lean, but not very quiet. In fact there was a fire alarm at 4 a.m. One morning. Not fun. The bell men were cordial and eager to help. The front desk staff were cursory and not upleasant ; they most certainly did not "go the extra mile".

Nice hotel close to everythingPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Location--we could walk to restaurants, shopping, the ballpark.
Cons: Parking was too expensive.
Location: Gaslamp is a little crazy at night, a big party scene. But there were also nice "grown up" places to have dinner, and then go shopping afterward.
Enjoyed our stay here, especially the help given to us by the concierge Suzanne W. She was terrific! Suzanne recommended wonderful places for us to eat and took all of our needs into consideration. Only downside of this place was the crazy $42 charge for valet parking and no self park option.

Great location to Gaslamp QuarterPosted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: Location and amenities
Cons: Parking fees
Location: Lots of local restaurants, bars and shopping. I like that there isn't a lot of chain restaurants in the area.
This in within walking distance to the convention center, seaport village and is in the Gaslamp Quarter. Horton Plaza is right next to this hotel and has some OK shopping. Parking is expensive

Great location but not a romantic place stayPosted Apr 7, 2015
Location: great location
Running toilet, hate sliding bathroom doors, TV didn't work (but didn't plan to watch anyway), ventilation system is bad not a place for allergy sensitive, furniture layout bad (hard to close blinds or get to window), weird building smell after a day it becomes very noticeable I think it is mold due to poor ventilation. For what they charge this place needs a serious update! You can find a better STAY>
