“NOT IMPRESSED”
To start the phone was from double tree and had their phone # on it. The tv was made in the 80"s as was the bed. It looked like they went to a clearance sale and bought some one elses throw away junk. The room was clean and staff very nice. I read that they stopped charging for ice but when i went to get some they wanted .25 cents. I can forgive the tv but the bed and sheets need to go to the dump!!!!!!!!!
“Worst Hotel”
When we arrived at the hotel, they told us that they didn't have our reservation. After calling Expedia, Expedia told us that the hotel refused to honor our reservation because they where unhappy with the price that we paid. The Travel Inn woman tried to haggle with Expedia and get out of honoring the reservation. This caused about a 3 hour delay in getting to our hotel. Expedia performed admirably in finding us another, better hotel in San Diego the Thursday morning of Comicon at no additional charge to us. They also gave me a credit on my Expedia account.
“Worst hotel/motel stay of my lift!”
This is probably the worst hotel/motel room I have ever stayed in. It smelled, the bed was uncomfortable, and the coffee maker didn't work (they even swapped it out for us and that didn't work either). There weren't even trash can liners; they used an old grocery bag! For the money we spent (several hundred dollars for the weekend) I expected a lot more. We should have stayed at a Motel 6 or Super 8; at least we would have known what to expect. Never again!
