Travelodge El Cajon

The hotel was nice and the location is helpful because I was going to el cajon

The desk clerk was very nice and friendly. The noise level was very low. The rooms was not as clean and I had to buy a room freshener for the dull smell.

The only thing good is the location. Our room was musty, not fresh smell. The towels have black stain on them and the first night there were loud banging noises that kept us up for an hour or so. One of room we could smell marijuana scent when we walked by all day and night. But what do you expect for $60 a night.

It was the dirtiest place I ever stayed!

Not great service, room was gross, shower was broken, loud noise through out the night.

The walkways were slanted and had to walk on in the rain. The furniture in the room was chipped. The bathroom was very small. The attendant did offer to carry luggage up to second floor because it was raining. The breakfast was joke.

Stayed here for a night. The staff was nice enough to let me check in early. I booked a smoking room and was shocked to find it smelled nor looked like a smoking room. Comes with mini frig and 1980 microwave but its decent. It was pretty quiet considering it was a weekday stay. I'd stay again.

The price was inexpensive, but it would have been worth spending $10-20 extra to stay elsewhere. The front desk staff were very short, not offering any information except the room number and key. I chose a non-smoking room and the room smelled horribly of smoke. Helicopters flew overhead several times during the night and others staying were noisy through the night as well. It was not peaceful, was run down on the outside and furniture was damaged on the inside. I won't ever stay here again, nor would I recommend it.

price was great for location! 15 minutes to seaworld- for a fraction of cost compared to closer hotels-
