“Average”

Clean room, great thing was the heated pools. Service was good, although employee might know a little bit more about transfer options..

“San Diego on the cheap.”

Not the ritz-carlton by any means but 'inexpensive' was what i was going for. Room was spacious and had all traveler necessities except a mini fridge & microwave. I fixed the toilet but i'm sure they would have if i told them about it.

“OK if traveling with pets”

Good if you have a pet. Good location. Helpful staff. Room and maintenance not up to par.

Both restaurants (breakfast and dinner) were very decent. Locals go there.

“run down rooms”

The staff was very helpfull and nice. The location was close to many of the places we went to visit. The rooms were run down and in serious need of updating.

“Good Value For The Price”

Large, comfortable room. Daily linen service. Extra pillows. Had leaky faucet which was not just repaired but replaced with a new faucet. Hotel had heated swimming pool, laundry, choice of two restaurants, free internet. Close to everything.

Area recommendations
Close to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, USS Midway, Safari Park, La Jolla, Airport. Hash House has great food. Enjoyed Nobu's downtown. Many great restaurants in San Diego. Nob Hill Inn was exceptional! Crazy Burgers was a delight! Shipwreck Reef Cafe a good deal. The Mission for excellent breakfast. Broken York Cafe, Luigi's Pizza, Brian's, Julian's Pie, Chicken Pot Pie House, Antique Row Cafe, Devine Pastabilities - all excellent places.

“Hotel is very close for Sea World”

The front desk Hotel staff was very friendly and very helpful. The only bad thing I have about the hotel is the carpet was very dirty. We wore white socks and within 15 minutes of walking around our socks were black. The rest of the room was clean and the looks of the hotel on the outside is up to date also. I would stay there again but will bring dark socks to use in the room next time.

“Ok for price”

You get what you pay for. Hotel is in need of an update, especially the carpets. Staff was really nice and helpful.

“great stay in san diego”

great location. close to everything (with a car) big and fairly cleen rooms. liked it. recomend it. will be back.

“Good deal”

Great location for MCRD, Zoo, major highways and La Jolla. Clean place, nice pool area.

Mission Valley, MCRD, close to airport, downtown San Diego, close to major highways.

“Good Location, Helpful Staff,”

+ Close to Sea World + Close to old town San Diego + Room was large & clean + Staff was helpful. Was there during the power outage in San Diego, they refunded the fare for that day - The bathroom does not have an exhaust. Not too bad as it had a window. Also the tap controlling the water temperature in the shower was broken, but they sent someone to fix it very soon.
