“Best Travelodge Hotel”

I stayed at different Trabelodge Hotels in California during the last few months. The Travelodge San Ysidro is the best I've ever seen. Everything in the room was new and clean. The hotel staff was friendly even when we checked in after 11pm.

It is a nice hotel. Eating places are close by. The mexican border is one and a half miles away. Alot of places to see and visit. For the money it is well worth it. I am going back next month. Close to the freeway on ramp too. I really enjoyed my stay.

Not sure why this hotel has less ratings. First of all I was not expecting much since this was near Mexico border and the price was very cheap. But I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, King Bed, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, ironing, coffee maker and complementary breakfast. Not sure what else can be added at this rate.

The hotel location is great being close to the outlet stores. Rooms are ok but the sink/kitchen area is outdated...really old. Ref is kind of nasty. Service is good and they clean really well. Very happy with customer service and housekeeping. The internet advertised works but only in the front desk area so it's very inconvenient to get out just to get internet access. Overall, it's still a great deal considering the price of the room - cheap. Will stay again.
