Only stay here if you have no otherchoicePosted Oct 20, 2014
We called to let them know we were running late and to confirm that the room we had would accommodate 2 adults and 3 kids. When we spoke with the front desk they told us we would have today an additional fee for the toll away. I was a little confused since I booked the rate to accommodate my entire family. I went ahead and paid the additional $20 for the toll away. When they brought it up to the room they just rolled it in...and left us to do the rest. Well I figuer out why really fast. The roll away did not fit in the room. We had climb on the beds to get around it to go to the bathroom of out the front door. The front desk staff was not at all accommodating. It was 10:25 and there were people screaming in the pool, which our room was directly over. I had to go downstairs to ask when the pool closed... They said 10:00. I asked if they could shut down the pool since it was 25 minutes after. They said yes, but then heard the guy tell the people at the pool I complained. Not professional at all... Stayed at the Holiday Inn the next night for less money and much better service!!

Pay the extra for a real hotelPosted Oct 18, 2014
This hotel is a motel; and it was the worst, unless you don't mind staying up all night guarding your family and watching your car. I would have felt more comfortable in the Stanley Hotel with Jack Nicholson

Old School FeelPosted Oct 14, 2014
It was a nice hotel but the rooms need updating. It feels like it is stuck in the 80s & could use some upgrades inside and out. The pool and spa area needs a revamp.

The hotel isn't far from the beachPosted Oct 12, 2014
Well once I got to the hotel the place and surrounding area was all under construction for one as I'm signing for the hotel they tell me I have to pay for parking they 125 bucks for a deposit on a room now maybe things have changed in the past 6plus years in how you rent a hotel but if I'm going to spend my money and time i mite as well go for a more up scale place

Really gone downhillPosted Oct 9, 2014
Cons: Better customer service.
This is the third year I've stayed in this hotel, I've always enjoyed it in the past. What happened? TWO DAYS in a row, my room was not made up. I even called the front desk on the second day to ask them to make sure the room got made up while I was out for the day. I left my room at noon, and returned at 5pm and my room was STILL NOT made up. I called the front desk to complain and the desk person seemed really put out that I was complaining. Finally the rom service woman arrived, and did not speak a word of English but finally understood that I needed towels, and my garbage taken out. Get a clue Vagabond Inn

Budget Hotel all the wayPosted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: Relatively cheap.
Cons: Cleaner and updated. Better towels
I expected a little more at the price point of $80 a night.

ComfortablePosted Oct 4, 2014
Beds were comfortable. The room was neat and clean. Flat screen made the room a lil more up to date. The room was non smoking but still had a little stinch; it smelled like corn chips but it was tolerable. The balcony was nice but there was a lot of dust due to work being conducted. Luckily, no noise went on during my stay.

Good if your on a budgetPosted Oct 4, 2014
Good for a one night stay or if your on a budget. There is construction going on directly behind the hotel, so if your a light sleeper ask for a room towards the front.
