Convenient location, close to everything.Posted Mar 7, 2014
Room smelled funny, air condition and refrigerator were not working. I'm not sure if they serve the "free breakfast" extremely early because when I checked out at 10am nothing was available.

Not recomendedPosted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: The room looks clean. The matress and pillows were ok
Cons: Checking that everything in the room work.
I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, we could never get the hot water to run on the bathroom sink, the refrigerator wasn't working either and the shower was half cloged. The room look cleanand wasn't smeely.

Good qualityPosted Feb 17, 2014
Overall good experience. Front desk was extremely nice. And when we arrived at our room we loved it. We had a kitchen in our room which was really convenient, but there was a switch for the fridge on the wall. Just wish it was labeled fridge, took a while to figure out that's how the fridge got cold. Also didn't say how to check out so got confused about it, but just had to call front desk and let them know we were leaving. We stayed 2 nights and they cleaned our room however didn't throw out the trash or change the toilet paper. But would love to stay at the same hotel next visit in San Diego. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED

Great LocationPosted Feb 12, 2014
Location: close to all the main attractions malls, beaches, amusement parks. Luckily there is all this near by because you won't want to spend time at hotel
Unfortuantely I was very Dissapoinnted, when I checked in at 3.36pm my room was not ready. I was given a key to find a house keeper still in the room cleaning, one sign of the disorganization and lack of communication with the staff. I had to go back down to the office, because the cleaning lady didn't speak good English, at this time the front desk representative gave me a key to a room above it. The worst of all I took my son swimming the next morning to be joined by a mouse also swimming in the pool. I immediately told the front desk rep (which was the same rep from check in) for him to say he was gonna send someone right away.15 mins go by and the mouse is starting to lose his momentum and about to die in the pool. I took it upon myself to save the mouse form drowning and take the mouse out of the pool myself with the hotels pool chair, it was a cute little mouse i didn't want to see die because it took a wrong turn and maintenance found it not to be an urgent matter. The funny thing is the front desk rep came out to apologize after i took the mouse out myself to say his maintenacne team was working on something else! I was shocked by this. This is not how business should be ran. Ultimately it was the worse hotel experience I have had in my life time. I only chose the hotel because I wanted a great location to the beaches in San Diego and I also need a pet friendly hotel being that i took my dog on this trip.

Easy to get toPosted Feb 11, 2014
Location: Relatively close to Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Air & Space Museum and Sea World. Old Town is 5 minutes away too.
Arrived in the early evening and was met by Andrew who provided excellent service and information. Not far from many of San Diego's major attractions.

When we arrived there wasn't any parking inside the hotel we had to park next to the store that's next to the hotel.when confronting the manager he personally told me that they had an arrangement with the store next door but when we left the car there we were told we couldn't leave it there , apparently the s tore manager didn't know about the arrangement. I spent all night worrying if my car would get fined or worse.
