Pros: pricing, location, room amenities
Cons: finish fine tuning the rooms with the new renovations
Location: Hotel Circle. Located right off the freeway. Very easy to find and close to all of the big attractions.
hotel is on the tail end of renovations and some of the rooms need final touches but overall a great place to stay for the money. Will definitely stay again

NEVER AGAIN

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: CUSTOMER SERVICE when I told the guy at the front desk about the experience he totally blew me off and acted like I was lying about the experience
Location: San Diego is a nice place and their is plenty to do plus their are several other hotels on the same street so pick one if them.
When we got to the room the TV was disconnected and it took 30 minutes and 3 people to fix it. The towels were filthy they had make up and hair on them. One of the pillows were stained. They put us in a room next to where they stored the renovation supplies so there was loud banging for several hours after check in. Try their fruit punch at the desk it is disgusting. EVEN THEIR WATER HAS FAKE LEMONS IN IT...ARE YOU KIDDING. They never told me about a $100 deposit which they still have not returned to me and I want my money back. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

The hotel was been remodeled. Not enought parking because of same reason. No place to hang clothes, towels or anything, missing light fixtures and the smell of paint

Not a fun place to stay!

Posted Jun 21, 2015
The hotel was under construction - workman & equipment everywhere - no closet in the room & the workmen painted the door with acrylic paint & once I got in I couldn't get out - had to have the management come up and let me out about 4 times for a one-night stay. I complained to them and asked for a comp sinceI had such a rough time, but they couldn't tell me for sure if that was possible. They just wanted my money, didn't care too much about customer service!

Hellish Hotel Stay...in rm not ready for occupancy

Posted Jun 19, 2015
Pros: Nothing. Given the chaos of the situation, neither of us could understand how the hotel would even attempt to keep a few rooms open. A nightmare.
Cons: When a complete renovation is underway, and the entire property is a disaster zone, there should be some honesty and upfront disclosure.
We booked this hotel because of proximity to a hospital we needed to be close to. We arrived very late at night (it was an emergency unplanned trip) and it was immediately clear that major construction work on the entire facility was taking place. All regular parking spaces were filled; just trying to maneuver through the maize of construction pylons and tape without hitting a vehicle was difficult. Upon finding our room...there was no outside light making it difficult to unlock the door in the dark. Once inside, flipping the light switch inside the door did no good as there was no lamp or light attached. We made our way to the bathroom to find a light switch. At that point it became obvious that there was no closet or anyplace to hang any clothes. We took a shower to hit the bed...the water backs up and doesn't drain. We then notice that there's no cover on the fan in the bathroom. Went to unpack the suitcase...the middle of three drawers doesn't have a handle to open. Went to set the alarm; clock doesn't work. Put our food in the fridge. Next day at noon when we open it we discover that all is melted or warm...fridge wasn't plugged in. The second night we ended up parking at an adjacent hotel as there was no parking available. During that day, one entrance to the property was always blocked as the entire building was being painted. On departure, I gave a list of these issues to the 2 staff persons at the desk. They thanked me. Vagabond has lost me forever.

they overcharged me on my credit card they wanted an extra $50 for deposit and later on that day they charge me again an extra hundred dollars and overdrew my account and I still have not received the refund so I end up paying $315 for a room that I was supposed to pay only 215$ for they stole from me basically
