Good hotel for the price you pay

Posted Apr 23, 2014
We booked a family suite. It had bunk beds which the kids loved and a cute little table for them to eat at. We had a kings bed which was very comfortable. Unfortunately it was not a "separate" room from the kids which is what it showed in the picture but it did have a division wall, which was fine. We had also called and asked if it had a sofa pull out and were told yes but it didn't even have a sofa...no big deal we just had the kids bunk together. The hotel was very clean...even though it is older...which was a really nice surprise. It was a great family hotel and our kids thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool. Oh and it is about as close to sea world as you can get!!

Not what I expected. Definitly not 3 star!

Pros: Area resturants.
Cons: Cleanliness and staff friendliness. Upgrade rooms
Location: It was close to some area attractions and airport.
I was disappointed with room after checking in, the lobby was nice. Most of the staff was not friendly. Pool and hot tub was not very clean. Did not feel safe in hotel neighborhood.

Great for the price!!! Near everything!!

I booked the suite with two bunk beds but my sister booked the kind bed with a sofa bed and realized that room was bigger so as a courtesy the hotel staff changed my room to the king bed with sofa bed which was perfect! This hotel was close to shopping centers sea world restaurants and everything! The room was clean and room service was great no mold or old stuff! Great for the price!!

Not my favorite

Posted Apr 21, 2014
We didn't have wifi the entire weekend, the hotel staff had us call tech support and it was still on the hotel side. The room was very hot and humid. The air conditioning would shut off in the middle of the night and you would wake up very warm.

It's like a motel rather than a hotel.

- Area 'looks' ghetto. - Noisy! - No food service in room or hotel restaurant - eat across the street. - sink in my room automatically started overflowing without me doing anything. However hotel staff was corteous enough to change the room. Overall, i wouldn't recommend this place, but may be an ok place if you just want to rest for a day.

Disappointed

NOT a 3 star hotel. 2.5 at best. Parking is free but atrocious. Wi-Fi was free but didn't work in our room the entire 3 night stay. When you come into the lobby it says "we proudly serve Starbucks coffee". Yeah, for 2 bucks a cup. Sink did not drain. Bianca at the front desk was very nice.

Wyndham Garden

As a Motel 6, this would rate highly. As a Wyndam, I expect much better. The lobby and staff were nice, and the rooms were adequate. It was, however, noisy and crowded. The rooms were not well sound-proofed (single pane glass?), and the noise from the balcony and particularly the pool came right through. The parking lot was extremely small and difficult to maneuver with anything other than a compact car. Definitely spend a little more and stay in a better place.

NO INTERNET SERVICE-BAD FOR BUSINESS!

Posted Apr 19, 2014
I'm a business traveler who relies on internet conectivity. Their computer was broken and their internet did not work. Wireless went on and off. When asked if it could be fixed they said they would make a call, and I asked if they could call me back and let me know when it would be fixed so I could plan my day the front desk person told me they "do not call guests back". It was impossible to work from this hotel. I spent most of my time at an over air conditioned Starbucks, because the hotel and room were inadequate for working on my computer.

Nastiest hotel I've ever seen

Posted Apr 19, 2014
I traveled all the way from Connecticut with my 3 kids to go to Seaworld in San Diego, CA. I booked this hotel online after seeing some great pictures. When I got to this hotel it looked NOTHING like the pictures I seen online, it was very dirty inside, it smelled very musty and damp in the room. The rugs were dirty and wet. The walls had mold on them. It was absolutely disgusting, so I left a requested my money back.

Nice hotel, but area is questionable

Posted Apr 19, 2014
Pros: Bunk bed for the kids
No issues with the hotel or the staff, but the parking definitely stinks and the area where the hotel is located is questionable.
