Very accommodating

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Everything!
Location: Very close to USS Midway and within walking distance of several other attractions.
The staff happily accommodated us when we arrived from our cruise ship at 10:00 a.m. and allowed us to check in then. The hotel is within a block of the cruise port so we were able to walk from the ship. The room was very clean, pleasant and comfortable. The location is within walking distance of several San Diego attractions: USS Midway, Gas Lamp Area and Seaport Village. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in San Diego, much of this due to the San Diego Bayside! They also provided a shuttle to the airport at no charge. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone arriving or leaving San Diego by cruise ship!

Nice Hotel

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: Location to bayside attractions.
Cons: Rooms need a refrigerator...at no cost. Daily parking fee was excessive.
Location: Distance to attractions such as: USS Midway, harbor tours, and shopping was great. Finding parking was awful.
Overall good experience...not the best hotel in town.

Get-away

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: Central to many attractions. Offered free shuttle to and from Airport and San Diego Zoo.
Cons: Room needs to have a wall safe, small refrigerator, and microwave. Standard in many other hotels.
Location: Could not be more central. Minutes from waterfront attractions such as the USS Midway, a park, rental cars next to airport, and excellent restaurants
Took the upgrade to water view room given at time of check-in. Worth every penny.

Good hotel for the price.

We stayed at this hotel in order to be close to Little Italy. The property is clean and the staff were pleasant to deal with. For the money this was a good bargain.

loved it

The beds are every comfortable but the pillows suck! Another thing that sucked was having to pay $26 a day for parking, you pay enough to stay there! You would think if you are a guest staying at the hotel you should get free parking! The staff is very nice and polite! The rooms are clean! Loved the balcony and the view from our room!

The hotel was very nice , we have stayed there 4 times now when in San Diego. Nice place for walking.

Across from Bay, near maritime museum

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Some insect bites from room.
Location: Maritime museum, bay walk.
Near airport-some noise until about 11:00 pm. No restaurant in hotel. Some take out snacks.

Good location

Staff (other than housekeeping) was not friendly at all, but they did allow us to check in very early the day we arrived. Great views and location with a lot of restaurants in walking distance. Biggest issue for me was being able to hear everything from the room next to us through the adjoining door
