Pros: Great view of the bay.
Cons: The Wi-Fi could definitely be better. It was very spotty.
Location: Ruth's Chris steak house was in the courtyard of the hotel. The hotel is right across the street from the bay.
I was in town to see my nephew graduate bootcamp. It was close to the base and they did offer a shuttle to the MCRD. However there was only one shuttle.

Has the best location

Posted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: LOCATION!
Cons: Needs a franchise restaurant, to make it easy to get a bite to eat.
Location: Sights from the balcony, nearby is the ferry ride to Coronado Island, close to downtown & train station.
This is the only hotel I would stay in, in San Diego, due to its prime location, overlooking the Bay, seeing the cruise ships come in and go. To my right, from my wonderful balcony view, is the Star of India ship and Anthony's fish restaurant. To my left, is the U.S.S. Midway Museum. A short walk along the Bay brings me to all the shops and restaurants of Seaport Village. I could book any tour I wanted right across the street. Just a wonderful place. The only thing that would make it better would be if there was a proper restaurant within the hotel.

Excellent location -really comfy beds

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: Location, beds
Cons: In room safe - one site restaurant for breakfast
Stayed first week October - terrific location, bay view room worth a little extra. Close access to public transport/trolley and much within walkable distant. Very comfy beds. In room safes only thing missing - safety deposit at desk free just a bit of a pest. Good free wifi

Beautiful view of the bay.

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: I loved that every room had a balcony. The location was perfect, the price was great.
Cons: I don't think they should charge extra to have a refridgerator in the room. Why not just through it in as one of the amentities.
Rooms very nice, clean. We were attending a wedding on the Berkley across the street so location was perfect. Had a great breakfast at the on premises restaurant. Price was very reasonable for the location. If we were visiting from out of town, it would be perfect for a weeks stay to take in all to do in San Diego.

Pros: The view was great. As is the location. The staff was friendly and helpful
Cons: The issues with this hotel are really nothing that could be improved without a major renovation. It would be nice to have a sitting area in the room
Had a bayfront view on the 8th floor. Nice, clean room, well stocked with towels and other necessities.

Room with a view, though far from center of things

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: The view
Cons: Housekeeping
Location: Nothing nearby, except USS Midway
great because it has an airport shuttle, and is only about 10 minutes away from the airport. Room was spacious, bed was super comfy. Neighbor kept smoking on the patio, which isn't really the hotel's fault, but it did detract from my experience. The pool was only accessible via the main lobby, and no bathing gowns were provided, so I ended up not going in the pool. Housekeeping was mediocre. The room was kept pretty clean, but had a musty smell, and they left the ironing board and iron out for me to put away myself. This may be nitpicky, but I thought that they ought to have done that.
