Good place for stop-overPosted May 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Modern rooms, comfortable bedrooms. It was a bit of a hassle to get to the hotel due to the very narrow one-way streets. Area around the hotel was filled with bars and restaurants with good food and friendly staff. Hotel staff was also friendly, and helpfull.

The Brooklyn of CadizPosted Jun 15, 2012
Lovely hotel in a nice square in San Fernando...the town is like the Brooklyn of Cadiz, a bit out of the way but a quick cab or train ride into town.

Hotel Salymar offers a warm welcomePosted Apr 15, 2012 on Hotels.com
We had no idea that so many people travel during Holy Week so finding a hotel in the Cadiz area was a challenge. Hotel Salymar was a very pleasant surprise. It's a beautifully appointed hotel decorated in a contemporary and tasteful way and is situated near many great restaurants and shops. Best of all is the warm and welcoming staff. Although they don't speak a great deal of English, they went out of their way to be helpful. They offer parking around the corner but we weren't optimistic about finding it so we asked about free parking. They generously explained where we could find a free city parking lot, which was a 10 minute walk from the hotel and in a place convenient to the highway. Breakfast was generous with a nice variety of choices and served in an bright atrium style room. A very welcome perk is complimentary bottled water and fresh fruit in a bar fridge on each floor. After a day in the warm sun, a cold bottle of water is much appreciated. All in all, a great place to stay.
