"Adequate for my needs."
Great welcome by the desk staff. They were warm, knowledgeable and very helpful. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Nice stay, great parking and located close to where I needed to be. Dining area was okay, food okay, not real exciting menu.

"great hotel"
I liked everything about this hotel. It was less than 15 minute drive to Universal, which is why we were there. The room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. And after the uncomfortable bed where we'd stayed 3 nights before, this was very welcome! The staff was very helpful. Parking, wifi and pastries for breakfast were included. No complaints.

"Nice hotel and convenient location."
I have stayed at various hotels in Los Angeles, most of them were 4* hotel in downtown Los Angeles, but this time I wanted to try Mikado hotel, which is in North Hollywood due to the various places I had to visit in the Hollywood and Beverly Hills areas. The hotel is a little dated, it doesn't have fancy bathroom, but overall the room is comfortable and clean. I stayed on the first floor facing the courtyard, it was very quiet at night and I couldn't hear traffic at all. Lots of parking around the hotel so that was a plus. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast is a bit plain but it's included with the stay. Overall I was happy with my booking and would stay here again if I am mainly visiting the Hollywood area.

"Newly Renovated Still Needs Some Work"
Relatives stayed at this hotel when it was a Ramada so I figured to give it a shot. I noticed immediately when checking in, the newly painted walls. There was a weird smell in the room when 1st arrived. The room was comfortable & clean, but I noticed the carpets were older & needed replacing. I hope they get the carpets replaced. The wood doors on the cabinets were noticeably chipped & would not close all the way. More improvements need to be made but my overall experience was good.

I spent Valentines weekend with my boyfriend & the hotel was terribly understaffed. Only one person for guest services is ridiculous especially on such a busy weekend! I had asked when I checked in to please have dinnerware in the room before 6pm because we were having dinner our room & when we get there (7:30pm) there is nothing and it takes two hours to get our dinnerware mind you our dinner plans were ruined. There was no toothpaste or other utilities in our room, my stay was okay ONLY because of my boyfriend.

Extended Stay America Los Angeles - Burbank Airport

"Convenient "
Location is within minutes from major shopping stores. Burbank airport is 5mins. down the street and the I-5 is also about 5mins. away. Staff is prompt and friendly. Noise level is very low. Some rooms have a small kitchen. Ideal for long stays with family. Size of rooms are good. Only draw back is the price. Even on non-long weekends the price range could go north of $130. But nonetheless, it's way nicer than the Ramada down the street and cheaper than the Courtyard next door.

"Nice for a quick stay"
Initial impression driving up is this looks like a motel, and the layout certainly is. But the room was nice and clean (I' 9hm so paranoid of bedbugs), the bed very comfortable, and overall was great for a quick stay. The parking is monitored so we felt safe leaving our car there, which was fully loaded with our valuables (we were moving far) even with a luggage bag on top (not locked). We were told by locals it's a pretty nice area of town. We woke up the next morning to find our stuff still there! Not that it's recommended to do that, but it was fine for us.The complimentary breakfast was kinda lacking, bagel was a little stale, and it was basic continental fare. Some places surprise you with a waffles or some other perk, not this place. It was ok, we had to leave anyway, so really no time to linger over a hot plate anyway.
