This was our first time staying at the Omni San Francisco. The hotel is gorgeous, in a great location, and the entire staff was fabulous. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Every staff member was friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will return for future stays in San Francisco!

This is a posh/splurge hotel. Very high tech room. The bathroom is an experience itself. Awesome shower. Great staff who are ultra professional but not the least bit snooty like some fancy hotels.

We stayed there for our anniversary and really enjoyed the beautiful views of the bay. The staff was really helpful and congratulated us on our anniversary every time we talked to them. They even sent chocolate covered strawberries and champagne to our room! We look forward to visiting again soon.

We came to Oakland to see the Justin Timberlake concert at the Oracle. I booked this room online with expedia for a great price. It included non smoking 2 queen beds with free wifi, free parking, free shuttle within 3 miles of hotel, free business center to print boarding passes, free breakfast (omelettes, french toast, cereal etc) and had a pool gym and complimentery hot cocco and coffee or tea upon walk in by lobby. Also had free beach cruiser bikes to ride. Being close to the airport was not noisy at ALL. The lobby associate Mary Flores was extremly nice and even mailed out my postcard for me and gave me a stamp.

When my two daughters and I arrived, we were pleasantly greeted by Steve. He checked us in quickly and gave us information about the hotel. We also met sweet Pam who was helpful during our entire trip! The room was gorgeous - modern decor and very spacious, with a refrigerator, and an awesome TV built into the mirror, and the terrace was a pleasant surprise. We checked in the night the Giants won the World Series and we enjoyed hearing the town erupt in celebration when the winning fly ball was caught. Although we are not Giants fans, the enthusiasm was infectious. The staff told us we were only a few blocks from the celebration and told us how to get there. I am sure the celebration kept other visitors awake, but the noise was not the fault of the staff and I could not believe they were having to field complaints about the noise from hotel guests.
Overall, I give the Donatello an excellent rating because of the beautiful room, amazing staff and convenient location. Would love the chance to visit again - but for much longer! San Francisco was awesome and staying at the Donatello made it even more enjoyable!

As San Francisco natives, we wanted a romantic, elegant and fun night away. The Hotel Monaco is fantastic. The location is of course great. The hotel manages to be both elegant and whimsical and fun. The rooms are pretty small, but their excellent design compensates. Highly recommend.
