We spent the entire night in the hotel since we are from around the area and had been to Half Moon Bay several times before. This was our first stay at Mill Rose Inn. The bed is soooo comfortable! I wish we would have more time to relax in it. Our room had a jacuzzi tub that was HUGE as well as a fireplace that was nice to sit by at night. Terry has a very extensive movie collection that even had new movies like 12 Years a Slave. We watched a couple in our room while enjoying the complimentary beverages and cheese plate. At night, we spent an hour in the hot tub surround by plants/flowers with a view to the stars. I feel like there is so much left to enjoy and explore at this B&B and we will definitely be back again!!!

With just a long weekend to show my partner something of San Francisco we found this an excellent location. The immediate vicinity is lively, the Bay adjacant, and the cable cars, trolley lines and buses took us just about everywhere else we could pack into the available time. The place is convenient, welcoming and would be our choice again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. First and foremost, the staffs are friendly. Secondly, it is close to shopping areas and other food chains. Lastly, the hotel is very clean. However, we only wish that the internet should be free of charge.

Everything you would expect from a St Regis hotel.
Food at AME was very good and the bar menu had a steak sandwich on it that if it was a religion I would start praying to it.
Gym was a bit small but had everything you would need, pool is a good size and the spa had great service / attention to detail.

This was our first time to San Francisco and we chose The Donatello because of its location. The hotel is located in a great part of town, within walking distance to nice shops/restaurants and The Westerfield Centre Mall. Our room was right by the elevator but never heard any noise from outside our room or adjoining rooms. The only drawback was it was very noisy outside the hotel each night. The room was very comfortable, great size and nice TV with mini fridge/microwave. It was clean and up to date and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff at the hotel were super friendly and made us feel at home. I highly recommend this hotel and we were very pleased with our trip to The Donatello!

I stayed 2 nights at the end of my trip up the pacific coast highway. This was a excellent choice. The hotel has endless charm and style. The location of this hotel is great it's in the nob hill section of san francisco. I stayed in room 608 which faced down taylor with a city view. I opened all the windows and felt the breeze.Warm air during the day and cool at night. Everyone that worked at this hotel was about delivering great customer service. I would not only recommend this hotel to anyone that i know is traveling to San Fran but when i return i will be staying here again no doubt.

Our first choice of hotels whenever we stay in SF is the Taj Campton Place. We like the location of the hotel near Union Square and especially the hotel staff whom we have come to know quite well and treat like family. The location allows us to navigate around the city but using the different modes of transportation available to us. Despite the construction around Union Square, the Campton Place for us, is still an ideal hotel to call home when in SF.
