We stayed there for our anniversary and really enjoyed the beautiful views of the bay. The staff was really helpful and congratulated us on our anniversary every time we talked to them. They even sent chocolate covered strawberries and champagne to our room! We look forward to visiting again soon.

My husband and I wanted a get-away hotel and certainly got it here! Completely relaxing with wonderful views, a coastal walking trail, golf if you want it, fabulous breakfast buffet, stellar bathroom, and super-comfy beds. Sitting on the ocean terrace with a glass of wine or cup of hot chocolate was laid-back and great for people-watching. We didn't want to leave!

We had a great stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in San Francisco. The location was perfect for shopping and jumping on local transportation to anywhere in the city. We had a spacious corner room with nice views over the city and a very comfortable king size bed. The amenities at the hotel were excellent, including an indoor pool and jacuzzi, fitness room, spa, Michellin rated restaurant and a Grappa bar. The food in the Luce restaurant was superb. We have stayed here before and we will be back again. We highly recommend this hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel, especially around the holidays. We enjoyed our stay. However, we had some trouble with the shower, and it took 3 phone calls for maintenance to finally arrive. We waited 45 minutes to take a shower! We were compensated with two free beverage tickets which we were unable to use as we needed to check out and be on our way.

We just spent one night as part of an anniversary trip and we were delighted. The buildings feel and look as though they are brand new. The room was very airy and spacious with a fireplace and seating area. The view was out to the small boat harbor which we thought was very scenic. Large luxurious bathroom with separate tub and shower. Fluffy towels. Good soap and accessories.
I read other reviews complaining about the "noisy foghorn" but made the reservation anyway. As it turned out the "foghorn" is simply a navigation beacon located out on the breakwater which beeps every 10 seconds. My wife is particularly sensitive to noises (at home, I always have to get up to stop the bathroom faucet from dripping) but she didn't even notice the beacon. It can be heard, but it didn't bother us at all.
