San Francisco Bay Vacations

A popular place for visitors in the bustling city of San Francisco, San Francisco Bay has a lot to offer visitors. The center of San Francisco is only 10 miles (16 kilometers) away, while Oakland International Airport can be found 5 miles (8 kilometers) to the east of San Francisco Bay.

San Francisco Bay is a popular place to visit in San Francisco as a large number of the area’s main attractions are nearby. Two of the most interesting places to see are the fabulous Candlestick Point State Recreation Area and the fantastic Coyote Point Museum. Two other great attractions within a short distance of San Francisco Bay are the Poplar Creek Golf Course and the Coyote Point Park.

Get your body moving in the great outdoors at the many beautiful destinations nearby. Relax and enjoy the fresh air. There are some nice green escapes, so why don’t you go out and enjoy Kennedy Park in Hayward, the John McLaren Park and the Leo J. Ryan Park in Foster City. Take sunscreen and your gear and spend some time exploring the waters of Lake Merritt in Oakland.

Take time out from the sights and work on your swing at the Mariners Point Golf Center in Foster City.

If you are ready to indulge in some retail therapy, shop til you drop amid the many stores of the Anchor Brewing Company, the Oakland City Center in Oakland and the Millbrae Square Shopping Center.
