“It's just okay..”

The hotel is convenient coz it's in downtown but I can hear upstairs when I tried to fall asleep.

“Union Square is walking disntance”

The hotel is cheap and close to Union Square. Is old but the people is working together and cooperative.

“best you can do on a low budget”

The hotel staff were polite and prompt. The architecture is interesting, although the building's a bit dingy. My chief complaint was that my room had a faint odor, sort of like sweaty armpits. All in all, it's nothing to get excited about, but it's satisfactory if you're on a tight budget and want to be a few blocks away from the Civic Center area.

Area recommendations

I found the business center of the city depressing because of the skyscrapers and homeless people, who were a bit more agressive than beggars I've encountered in other cities. The bay, on the other hand, was more pleasant, with a better perspective on the surrounding landscape. Also the architecture in Chinatown and Fisherman's Wharf was more appealing. There were panhandlers everywhere, but they were more thinly distributed outside the main business district. The pigeons are aggressive too! I saw one fly into a girl's face. Pigeons and panhandlers were my main impression of San Fransisco. Not too eager to go back. I saw one bum holding a cardboard sign which read, "Pigeons stole my parents! Need $$ to buy a gun to fight the #!*% pigeons!"

This hotel is located near the Union Square and that's it.

“Not good”

The hotel is small and the ventilation in room is not good. The service is also not great. Only the location is good. But I guess there are other hotels in the same location. Breakfast is useless. There are no proper tables to sit and have breakfast. Just has bread, toaster and a coffee/tea vending machine. Room TV is useless. Shower is not all that great. Had to wait for the water to heat up. Overall, it's not a good hotel especially if you are staying for more than a night.

“convenient San Fran Location”

ideally situated near Union Square, the Adante proved to be a fine place to stay. Not expesive, and the rooms were good- it is an old building, but full of character- ice machine outside our door was a pain ( seemed to be a magnet for us this holiday!). breakfast- basic but adequate- plenty to eat, refills tea, coffee and juice.

“Good hotel for traveller”

Good location, near union square; bus stops nearby and can easy to go any place. Room is small but comfortable and clean. Reception is warm and helpful. Free wifi and breakfast. It is a litter noisy in the evening but it did not disturbance my sleep. Satisfied.

“do not stay at the Adante”

No air conditioning. Fan set to go off after about 30 minutes! If you open the windows it is so, so noisy! No hot water for shower if on the seventh floor. Enough space for about five people to sit for continental breakfast. It smells so we had to buy a can of air spray!! DO NOT STAY HERE!

“Will Not Recommend This Hotel... Hotel Staff is very unfriendly”

Hotel Staff is very unfriendly and the breakfast time is very unpleasant: There is not a seat available to have breakfast, no spoons, no milk... The room service is nice and efficient. The room comfort is ok. Will not recommend this hotel and will not come back because the hotel staff service is very limited and not nice and the breakfast is extremely limited.
