Pros: Close to SFO
Cons: Food services.
Location: San Francisco has everything.
A very nice hotel 1/2 mile from SFO. Great place for a stay if you're waiting to catch a flight.

Overall the hotel was a nice experience. We were out of our room for the most part. We found and had to kill a few spiders, the valet parking guy was lazy and rude, 2 of the front desk representives were friendly, and the manager came to greet us once we walked in.

great for the airport

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful, the free shuttle to the airport was great, it comes about every 20 minutes.
Cons: The breakfast was very expensive for what it was.
Location: There's not much nearby but it's great for getting to the airport.
The hotel is comfortable, clean and a quiet considering it's so close to the airport. The bar has a decent food menu that's more affordable than the restaurent at the hotel across the parking lot and the staff were really friendly. The staff were helpful with helping me store my bags temporarily after I'd checked out

Great hotel-rude guests: suggests adults only area

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Will never cease to amaze me that people can be so rude and obnoxious when walking or running through the halls of a hotel... Or allowing their children to run and scream through them. The noise echoes and is so loud in the room from the hallway. The hotel was great with the exception of rude guests...not necessarily the fault of the hotel. They would benefit by having designated adults only floors.

Can be over 30 and still enjoy the Aloft

Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: We liked the location of the hotel. The room was clean and spacious.
Cons: The hotel front desk staff could be more friendly. They appeared uninterested in all the guests and only focused on checking people in/out.
Location: A great hotel if you're flying out of SFO; the hotel has a convenient shuttle service. We liked Millbrae---tons of great restaurants downtown...
The Aloft has a fun vibe so if you're not wanting a DJ bumping some hip tunes as you check-in close to midnight, you might want to stay at the Westin across from the hotel. Once you get to your room, you won't even hear the music. We did hear some plane noise but it's to be expected (airport hotel). We used earplugs and slept soundly.

Did not like the fact that there was no restaurant within the facility but it was only a short walk to their neighbouring hotel with dining priveleges

Graduation

Posted Jun 19, 2015
We stayed there while in town for my niece's graduation. The rooms were great, the parking was terrible. No place to park, looked like all the spaces were taken by travelers. They didn't have designated spots for long term parking while guest were out of town. We were told to park in handicap parking.

Nice modern hotel near airport

Posted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Modern decor/style, large walk-in shower, great views from room, comfortable bed, 12pm check out time, laundry room
Cons: Install a mirror in the bedroom area. The only mirrors in the room are in the bathroom. Include a complimentary breakfast.
Location: Near the airport
This hotel is very modern which was fun since we have always stayed at places that are decorated in a more "classic" style. Our room was on the 6th floor so we had a great view of the city. The bathroom and bedroom area looked almost brand new. There is no bathtub, just a shower, but it is very large. There are two shower heads--a fixed one that is installed higher up, and one that is installed a bit lower that is also detachable. The shower has a fold down seat and bars for those with mobility issues. The shower also has wall dispensers for body wash and a 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner. Bliss is the brand name for the bath products. The door to the bathroom is a sliding door instead of a regular door, and on the bathroom side of the door is a large full-length mirror. We stayed in a room with a king-size bed and pillows that were very comfortable (we slept well). The air conditioner in the room worked well and was quiet, and it is controlled by an actual thermostat on the wall which is nice. There were plenty of outlets so we had no problems trying to find free outlets to charge our phones and camera batteries. The curtains in the room are controlled electronically which was pretty cool. The room also had a small refrigerator, but it was located in the bathroom which was kinda weird. No big deal though. There is a hotel shuttle that runs to and from the airport every half hour which is very convenient, and there was a laundry room on our floor.
