More like a motel than a hotel

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Price and location.
Cons: Flat screen televisions could use HD imput, upgrade to furnishings. You need 2 chairs for a table.
Location: Everything is near by, and the Cow Palace is a block away.
As described, refrigerator and microwave were present and in excellent condition. Actual suite with an entry room and a bedroom, both with a queen size bed. Parking spaces were in front of the doors, with an overflow lot to the rear. Single level, no second floor, very much like a motel. The place is old, but pretty well maintained. Location is away from main thoroughfares so it is very quiet. Continental breakfast was very basic, yogurt, instant oatmeal, bagels and pastries, cold cereal with milk, apples, coffee and hard boiled eggs. Enough to take the edge off. Staff was VERY helpful in all things. Overall i would say the inn was very kinda ciche cool. I would stay again, the price is right and it's located very well for visiting the whole North Bay Area.

Nice Hotel

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Clean, like that rooms arent all attached so not bothered by other rooms noise
Location: Candlestick park, easy access to Mission St
Overall good stay, convenient location to Candlestick park, not too close to everything else but easy enough to get around so it wasn't an issue.

Nice hotel, bus ride to San Francisco

Posted Jul 29, 2014
The beds were comfortable which is important to me. It was also very clean. I did have one suggestion, and that is for shelving in bathroom, definitely not enough space for 2 women to store toiletries. Also there was enough room that they could have a shelf or dresser for storing clothes in main room so that you didn't have to work out of your suitcase. My main objection was a very loud sound in walls perhaps from pipes that woke us up each night

The hotel was nice enough for a budget place close to SF. The bathroom sink was backing up when I first got in, but I notified the staff the next morning and it was working fine when I returned that evening. The sink started backing up again, later, so there is probably some more systematic issue that just the one sink. The main room was fine - clean and comfortable, and the hotel was near the bus line so it was easy to get into the city. The free breakfast wasn't served until 7:30 - after I needed to be on my way for the day - so I don't know how good it is. If I'm back in SF again, I'll probably try to get something closer to the city, but I'll definitely keep this place in mind as a good back up.

The room was greatx clean and perfect to feel like home. The breakfast was decent and staff was helpful from the front desk to the cleaning staff. Small little town looking area but great price and view.

a lot of flare but no follow through.

clean place. near a bus stop if going transit route. from my experience, staff weren't the friendliest. service was mediocre. the room had everything as advertised but no safe for your sensitive belongings. quite funny actually because we hid all our extra cash and passport in the room so the maid won't find it lol. the breakfast station is a joke. it is located in the small corner of their office. only two ppl can get at it at a time. why couldnt they invest on a bigger place to have breakfast? honestly for the price I paid for ( $127/night), your are better off at a 4star hotel. invest a little more closer to downtown SF. saves the headache from traffic or taking the bus along side with shady people. which by the way they only live one block from this place. i would rather stay at a standard motel. at least I know what to expect from that.

Comfortable bed, clean room.

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: Clean and comfortable room and bed.
Cons: Earlier breakfast
Location: The location was convenient for me to take care of the business in Daly City - the reason for my visit there. Neighbirhood a little scary!
Hotel and room itself comfortable, surrounding neighborhood a little sketchy. I drove over to the closest 7-11 and was scared to get out if the car. Had to leave earlier than 7:30 when the breakfast was served, but really appreciated the good, hot coffee.

It was located in a quiet neighborhood.

Pros: It was quiet and comfortable.
Location: Motel was located in a residential area. Not much to do within walking distance.
Delightful facility. It felt like driving into an old time motor inn, but the rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was minimal.

Nice small hotel with clean rooms.

Posted Jun 11, 2014
The hotel is really nice with clean rooms and spatious washrooms. Rooms are not small comparing to Canadian standard. It is actually a motel style hotel, with entrances to the rooms from the street. This makes rooms to be not the greatest soundproof. But its fine as long as your neighbors are adequate. There is barely any traffic on the main street. We didn't have any issues with any sounds or noices. Location is fine if you are not looking for entertainment close to the place you sleep. It is about 15 minutes drive to downtown SF. And about 5 minutes drive to the San Bruno State park, which has beautiful views on Bay area. For the price you pay I think it is great place in SFO area. I would stay here again.
