Full bar serving California wines, wide selection of beers, Irish coffee, and nautically inspired cocktails such as Pirate's Punch. Exposed-brick walls, original wooden beams, boats suspended from ceiling. Patio seating (weather permitting) with views of picturesque Del Monte Square. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks daily. Children's menu.
Room service is available from early morning until midnight.
Recreation
The hotel's 24-hour fitness center, an airy space with exposed-brick walls, features cardio machines with individual TVs, along with free weights, resistance equipment, and stability balls. Guests can borrow a yoga basket with mat, strap, and block for use in their rooms.
The scenic waterfront, with its myriad attractions, is right outside the hotel and perfect for a brisk walk or run. Bicycle trips across the Golden Gate Bridge are also great fun; a rental shop is in the same building as the Argonaut. Fishing charters are available along Fisherman's Wharf. Hardy souls can brave the chilly waters of Aquatic Park, one block away.

“Wonderfulness at the Wharf with smiles!”
The hotel was absolutely beautiful and pleasant. Centrally located to everything and everyone.The door men greeted us graciously and joyously. Like we were old friends or rich tycoons, (John and Kevin) especially. We were given a room with a fantasic view of Alcatraz Island and it was wonderful. Made us appreciate freedom. The daily social hour was a big success as we met some good friends there. Great atmosphere and attitudes. This was an exemplary hotel and I would highly recommend to anyone on a trip to San Francisco! Make sure you get the bay view rooms though. We are looking for another good reason to return to San Francisco and the Argonaut Hotel at Fisherman's Wharf - a Kimpton Hotel. You have got the place there.
“Argonaut - Spring Break 2009”
My family loved the Argonaut. We had a double queen room w/view of Golden Gate Brigde. While the room was narrow, there was enough room for my husband and 2 kids (11 & 13). The location was perfect, right across the street from the cable cars and Ghiradelli Square. I'm very picky about cleaniness, especially in bathrooms and I was very pleased. Our bathroom was very clean - no mold or dirt anywhere. My only complaint would be that the queen beds were not the standard size queen. I was concerned because my enitre family is very tall. However it all worked out and we were comfortable. I would definitely stay at the Argonaut again. However, if I was planing on a spa visit, I'd choose one of the larger hotels in Union Square. THe Argonaut only offers in-room spa services.
“Argonaut experience”
Great location near Fisherman's Wharf. A bit crowded with tourists just around hotel, but perfect location to walk to most interesting areas of San Francisco. Not overwhelmed by hotel itself, but very nice and clean with friendly staff.

“Argonaut Never Disappoints”
We have stay at the Argonaut every time we are in San Fran and we are never disappointed. The old world style and charm of this place can not be matched. Besides the beauty of this place the staff is always helpful, friendly and accommodating. My husband and I always bring our two furry children and here they are treated like family. That is so important to us. We will continue to stay here every time we come to San Fran.
“Awesome Hotel! Perfect Location!”
We had an incredible stay at the Argonaut Hotel at Fisherman's Wharf! The hotel service, quality and cleanliness of the room, and location were all awesome. We have done a lot of traveling over the past few months - and this hotel would have to be at the top of the list!
“one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at”
The hotel was extremely accomodating right from our arrival. The hotel is neat, very clean, and has great decor. The free wine tasting each day is a great plus. Will definitely stay here the next time I'm in San Francisco.
“Convenient location”
I visited San Fran for the first time with my daughter. On arriving at the hotel we were very impressed with everything from the doormans courtesy to the comfort of our room. Previous to booking online at this hotel my daughter was not impressed by the outside of the building. The inside is everything we were looking for. It was convenient for everything from ferries, Pier 39, Alcatraz to the cable car stop just around the corner to go further afield. We had a great time and would not hesitate in going back or recommending this hotel to a friend.
