They love dogs

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: dog friendly, free wifi for Kimptom members, friendly staff.
Cons: it's perfect!
Location: It's near everything for sight seeing, eating and enjoying parks and the bay.
This is one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The first bonus is that they are dog friendly and don't charge extra for it. They are close to the bay and parks so we could take our dog out for walks. The location is touristy but that's not a bad thing. The rooms were eclectic and large. The decorations and brick walls are great. We enjoyed the wine reception.

Right where the action is

Posted Apr 19, 2015
The hotel is very close to the ocean and right where the action is. The hotel is very comfortable and familiar. I just wish the bathrooms were bigger. They do have EV charging which is a huge plus!

バス及びシャワーの温度が低く、熱いお湯が出ない。 風邪をひいてしまう温度。 場所はケーブルカーの終点に近いので便利なので、良いのだが。

good location. Not convinced room was super clean.

Just at the end of Fishermans wharf and a close walk to Presidio area. Overall I liked it. Well situated without being right in the thick of it. Plus I'm a huge Kimpton fan. When we checked in, sink was full of black stuff which staff did come and clean. Staff wasn't quite sure what it was, maybe a clogged sink that was fixed but not cleaned. Coffee mugs had lint in them too, which added to the sense of cleanliness unease.

Lovely hotel, great location.

We have just returned from The Argonaut and cannot fault it (apart from a kettle in the room would have been nice , us Brits like our cups of tea ) . Great location right on fisherman's wharf . We were offered an upgrade to the fourth floor but had a double room on the second floor for the first night, the room was lovely but had no view just looked out onto concrete and rooms opposite. The room on the fourth floor was larger with two beds and a view of the transamerica pyramid tower. All the staff were friendly and helpful . Glad we chose this hotel , would not hesitate to stay in a Kimpton again .

Friendly, comfortable, smaller property, pleasant change from the typical big brand hotels.

Can't Wait To Go Back!

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Location! We didn't have to break the bank to stay in the middle of the heart of San Francisco. It was beautiful, and functional, and affordable.
Cons: A few of the less popular items in the mini bar were expired (ex. Advil had been expired for a year), also the bed was very hard.
Location: Get dinner at McCormick and Schmidt's RIGHT at Sunset facing the water and get sundaes at Ghiradelli.
We weren't sure if we were going to stay in San Francisco until we arrived there. We did some internet/phone searches while at a restaurant and were disappointed to find that we couldn't find a nice place close to the Wharf for less than $600 a night. We pulled up to Argonaut Hotel and checked it out; it was a perfect location but I was sure it would be expensive. It ended up being reasonable, especially going through Expedia.

Friendly staff, awesome location. Everything was as expected, few complimentary things were missing like toothpaste and toothbrush. Even though, I would come back there!

Fin beliggenhet på Fishermans Wharf

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Alt
Cons: Ikke så mye
Location: Direkte i utkanten av Fishermans Wharf, gangavstand til det meste. Her trenger du ikke bil.
Hjelpsomt personale, fin restaurant. Mat og parkering var dyrt.
