Well placed on Fisherman's WharfPosted Sep 30, 2014
With just a long weekend to show my partner something of San Francisco we found this an excellent location. The immediate vicinity is lively, the Bay adjacant, and the cable cars, trolley lines and buses took us just about everywhere else we could pack into the available time. The place is convenient, welcoming and would be our choice again.

Loved the hotel, clean, safe, free wine hour and bikes to ride. Excellent location and our daily housekeepers went above and beyond.

Nice clean hotel in the nicest part of the bayPosted Sep 28, 2014
Nice room good spot and friendly staff. My only criticism would be the 'wine welcome' had the same wines and beer every night we stayed.

Great spot on the wharfPosted Sep 28, 2014
Great location right on the wharf. Restaurant was good. Try the chowder sampler! Clean room. Wine hour was very busy but very tasty. Would stay here again.

Nice hotel close to the actionPosted Sep 27, 2014
Clean place! Very accommodating staff. Loved the wine hour! Argonaunt is next to Ghirardelli Square and cable car line. Lots of restraunts with in walking distance. The non tourists places are just a cable car ride or a train ride away. The ferry building is a must do for breakfast or lunch. Would stay at the Argonaut again!

Great hotel on Fisherman's WarfPosted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: Love this hotel; great staff, rooms, decor and wine hour in the lobby. Good restaurant attached
Location: Close to all warf restaurants and attractions, next to Cable Car line
Great boutique hotel on Fisherman's Warf but out of the mainstream of tourists and traffic. Easy walk to all warf attractions and restaurants.

The Bruce's holiday in San Francisco.Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: The location, the friendly and helpful staff, the size of the room.
Cons: I found the hotel had everything we needed.
Location: You can pick up the open top bus tours, a bay cruise, the Alcatraz tour and the Big Red Fire Engine tour, Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf all within 10 min
I have just spent a week in San Francisco with my wife and son at the Argonaught hotel where we had probably our best holiday. Fisherman,s Wharf is got to be the best location to stay as there is so much to do within walking distance and getting into the downtown area is very easy by public transport.

room changePosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Location. It was at the end of fisherman wharf so it was away from the craziness but close enough to all the action
Cons: It seemed like the hotel did not give any conveniences except if you asked and then they acted like they were doing something special just for you.
Location: Centrally located to all restaurants
Changed room 3 times. When checking in we were assigned the rooms that nobody wants. First room right on street level. After saying we didn't want room they assigned a room smaller than the first. The bellhop had to show us 3 other rooms before they gave us a decent room. Considering the room was $400 a night I would have preferred better service. Want to charge me for WiFi. Had to go to front desk and ask for WiFi password. They finally gave it to me and told me to keep it a secret. Meantime free WiFi was part of the password. Same with coffee. They had to give us vouchers to get a coffee in the morning. Hotel recommended a Chinese restaurant very popular. We waited 50 minutes was still not seated because we had no reservation. He should have called to make one for us or tell us to make reservation
