Affordable and comfortable

Posted Mar 18, 2015
This place is nothing fancy - just a basic motel. But it has been remodeled, with nice linens and furniture. Our room was very spacious, with plenty of room for our huge suitcases. There were lots of horizontal surfaces - a low table for a suitcase, a desk, and then a table with two chairs. A nice touch was a lap desk so you could work in bed. Beds were comfortable and everything seemed very clean. Microwave and fridge in our room but we didn't use them. The only down side for us was the classic "motel room" layout where the sink and vanity area is open to the rest of the room, with very bright lights which make it impossible to sleep while someone is waking up or getting ready for bed. Breakfast was the best I've ever had in this type of hotel. Pre-made omelettes and sausage but they were really quite good. Plenty of everything, nothing ran out. Staff was friendly and helpful - they were happy to store our bags for us after we checked out, while we toured Stanford. I would definitely stay here again. Just be aware there are not many dining options nearby.

Excellent facilities and staff. Location is very good but not prime. Walls are a little thin.

Front desk was unfriendly...but the room was nice, clean, great pillows! Not the best side of town, but I would stay here again.

I slept 9 hours

Posted Feb 2, 2015
The bed was extremely comfortable and the room clean and fresh. The staff was wonderful and accommodated our needs for extra pillows and a blanket. THE AC/heat worked well, and we heard no street noise. This excellent night sleep prepared me for the next day of fun!

整體來說還不錯

Cons: 早餐較無變化 沒有飲水機較不方便
每天早餐都差不多,較無變化,其他尚可。 沒有飲水機較不方便 週圍很安靜。 此地點滿適中,到週圍景點都不會太遠。

Gutes Motel in der Stadt Redwood City

Posted Jan 11, 2015
Pros: Das freudliche hilfsbereite Personal.

Not a $200 room

Posted Dec 18, 2014
The room is very retro, and hasn't been updated in decades. There was a dead spider on the wall, stains on the carpet and the nonsmoking room smelled like smoke. Friendly staff.

Too expensive for this type of hotel.

Posted Dec 16, 2014
This was the only hotel with availability for the dates we needed. It was clean and comfortable, and staff was nice, but was priced the same as the St. Francis at Union Square where we went for the next two nights. I know that the price increases with demand, and the trip was rather unexpected and we had to have accommodations.
