very comfortable

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: I love the modern look.
Cons: nothing to improve
Location: Biscotteria right across the street and down a couple blocks. 25 y/o business making biscotti. Easy access via Highway 84 (woodside) to 101.
I was in a lovely room, very spacious, very clean, modern look. Flat screen and DVD player, hard to find these days. Full hot breakfast was great. Staff were very polite and helpful.

We were happy with our stay at this hotel.

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: Breakfast and clean rooms
Cons: It was expensive
Location: We were there for the graduation at Stanford University and it was close enough.
It was convenient to Stanford University. The room was clean and appealing with all the standard needed things. It had a refrigerator and microwave that are always nice to have.

ADA room not easy to shower in

Posted May 19, 2014
I booked this room through Expedia, The room was very nice and clean , bed was comfy and the staff was great. We were booked into a ADA wheel chair accessible room which was ok except we were not in need of one. The shower was very challenging because there was no glass door only a curtain that when we showered water flooded the floor into the carpet area. We had to mop up with are towels and wring out the water. The Breakfast was nice. Overall I think next time we should be warned and trained on how not to flood the room when showering. cb

Clean but noisy

The motel was very clean and I can't complain about the facilities for the price. The noise from other guests through ceiling was unbearable.

Visit was good except for the pillows, which were not comfortable.

Pros: Overall pretty basic, but decent. The Staff were friendly and attentive
Cons: Road noise was loud at times...maybe better insulated windows? Overall pretty pricy for what it was.
Location: I stayed here at I couldn't get a hotel in Palo Alto, most of my time was spent in Palo alto but the Redwood city downtown area seemed nice.

Perfect for Stanford hospital visit.

Posted Jan 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
Although it added about 5 miles to my trip to he VA Hospital it was well worth it. My room was on the second floor. Very clean, quiet and the King bed was comfortable. The shower head was great. The wiFi was fast and free. The free morning breakfast was actually good. The desk staff were friendly and knew what they were doing. There is not within walking distance a place to eat and I was OK with that. I am a elder woman traveling by myself and I felt safe at this location. And they have popcorn in the lobby after 6 pm.
