“Good hotel but expensive”
The hotel is clean and quiet but expensive considering its class. The continental breakfast was terrible -- one of the worst I have had. I had to choose this hotel due to all the other hotels around this area had been fully booked. Would not come back if I have other options.
“Not impressed”
The front desk was not very friendly. We asked where some local restaurants were and all they could do is point us to the Denny's next door. We asked for a map of the area and they gave us a photocopy of which looked like a map out of a Thomas guide book. They originally gave us one key & then I went back to ask for second key and they just asked for my room number and gave me another key. They did not ask for my ID or anything. That is pretty scary. With San Meteo being a gateway to San Fransico you would think this Best Western would have provided better tourist information & been more friendly. When we checked out they did not even ask how our stay was. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We have stayed in a lot of Best Westerns and this one was not a good one.
