This little hotel was close enough to Market St/Union Square/Chinatown/AT&T Park to walk easily. Clean and Safe environment, Great Price! Would definitely come to this hotel again.

PERFECT FOR A TOURIST GETAWAY

Posted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: Location Staff Price
Location: Everything is close by
We stayed at the Bay Bridge Inn for 1 week and had a great experience in San Francisco. The price was perfect for our tight budget and is in close proximity to everything in the city and only 25 minutes from the airport. The guy that runs the hotel was awesome! Very friendly, gave us his knowledge of the city and what times were the best to do certain things. Off street FREE parking was a major bonus. Although the small lot can get full, we had no trouble. The interior of the rooms seemed to be recently renovated, especially the bathroom. Rooms came equipped with a fridge and microwave. The cons of the Bay Bridge Inn weren't any sort of an issue for us. The hotel wasn't the quietest I've stayed in. You can hear some street traffic and noise from the highway. It is also on the cusp of the poorer area of the city. Homeless folks were pretty common to be seen. The only time we spent in the hotel was while we were going to bed and preparing ourselves in the morning. The rest was spent enjoying the fantastic city of San Fran and the myriad of things to see and do. If you are looking for a vacation such as ours, I highly recommend staying at the Bay Bridge Inn. If you're looking for a quiet, sit around with the family type, I'd recommend exploring other options.

Nice staff/location. Parking and noise a problem.

Posted May 25, 2015
Greeted by am extremely friendly and helpful man at the front desk. Room was clean and nicely furnished with high end plumbing fixtures and various amenities such as power ports, satellite TV, etc. The price is good for San Francisco. Parking is limited. They deal with it as best the can, taking your keys and letting you park in the aisle when it fills up, and then moving cats around when someone needs to leave. But this doesn't always work out. One person was frustrated with this and ended up honking their horn and washing us early in the morning. People also come back at weird hours and make noise. Overall, I would recommend it, but be aware of the issues.

Good value!

Yes the hotel may not be glamorous but it's very clean, the rooms are recently remodeled and nice. Parking and wifi are free too. It is a very functional and practical place to stay and if you are a bit on a budget you really can't go wrong.

Motel correct

Posted May 15, 2015

Pros: Staff was really pleasant.
Cons: Parking stall are super tight.
Location: Walking distance to ATT which we love.
The manager was very nice, but there was a couple arguing loudly and no one seemed to do anything about it.

Felt like I was greeted by a family member at reception. Room was so clean you could eat off the floor. Fantastic location, can walk to the stadium (and a ton of bars). Will stay here again for sure.

Walking distance to AT&T Park

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Stayed here when we came into town for a Giants game. The hotel was tucked away but easy to find. We arrived (after check in time of 1) and had to wait 45 minutes to get our key because the guy in reception was taking a shower according to his Dad.....parking is limited so we didn't want to leave and lose our spot. Finally got our key and room. It was very clean, smelled great & had a nice bathroom. We were just here to shower, nap & stay the night before heading back to Az early the next day. It suited our purpose very well and aside from the delayed check in it was great.

Inexpensive, clean, friendly staff.

Posted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: The price plus parking is free.
Cons: Sound proof the end room there is a big gap in the door and the noise outdoors comes thru
Location: Whole Foods and Peets are within 2 blocks. Safe walking in the day time, would not suggest at night. Felt safe though during the day.
Ricky was very good as the host of this hotel, very accommodating. He made sure we had everything we needed and let us choose which room we wanted. The updated room was comfortable, very clean and a good price for SF. Whole Foods is 2 blocks away and easy walking to the wharf and AT&T Park! The only issue we had was we were the end room by the alley and there were homeless yelling at each other all night long. This was not the hotels fault but wanted to mention don't select the end room!
