“Good place to stay.”

This hotel worked out very well for us. The room was large, clean, and had all the things we wanted (microwave, refrigerator). We also appreciated having breakfast. We are more interested in the above features than a fountain in front, etc. so it worked fine. We moved from here to the Sheraton by Stanford for one night. THEY had the fountain, swimming pool etc, but charged $10. per day for parking, $10 to bring us a refrigerator, no mircowave, and an expensive (not free) breakfast - and it was $100 more than the Best Western. Guess where we will go back to.

Staff very friendly. Room very spacious and clean. We were highly satisfied with the hotel and our room. Free continental breakfast was nice with doughnuts, fruit, cereal and waffles. We would go back!!

“What a pleasant surprise; this one easily exceeded our expectations!”

Room was spacious and well-arranged; we could relax, and rested well. We were in a corner room upstairs, and it was quiet (no street noise). Beds and chairs were comfortable, shower had safety grab bars, sink had large counter-top for our "stuff," and mini-refrig and microwave were well-placed. Breakfast offered a good variety, and items were replenished promptly. Computer was available in the office for guest use, so we could get directions to points of interest, etc. Staff were all accommodating and friendly, yet professional. I forgot my nightlight, and returned several days later, wondering if it had been turned in. The housekeeper actually RAN to our room to check, and there it was, in the plug where I had left it. Very impressive! The only negative thing was the parking (crowded), but there just wasn't room to expand.

“Great Motel”

We were very pleasently surprised by the facilities. The exercise equip. was good, the breakfast was great, the bed and room clean and comfortable and the staff was very accomidating.

“Will never stay here again”

The first room we had smelled so bad we had to go out a buy some air freshner. The staff was not helpful. We had a different room the 2nd night because we had 1 less person. That room was cleaner and did not smell as bad. The area was also bad. Men were gathering across the street looking for work each morning. Didn't feel safe in the area. We paid alot for a hotel like this.

“Wouldn't return”

Left a pillow and other personal items in room at check out, by mistake. Neither item turned in to lost and found. Fingernail clippings on the couch pillows in plan view, don't think much of housekeeping staff.

“Nothing but praise for staff and hotel”

We liked it so much, we came back and stayed our last night in California. For the money, it was the best place to stay. The staff were wonderful.

“Needs attention”

The only thing that worked in the exercise room was the treadmill. The spa and the sauna and the steam and the stepper and the bike were ALL NOT WORKING. The computer in the lobby did not work to print a boarding pass since the keyboard was on the fritz. The sink in the room was slow draining and the room smelled like MOLD. Opening the window and door did not improve the smell. Otherwise the room looked clean and newer, but it did stink.
