“Great Experience”

“lovely hotel and conveniently located”
THE HOTEL HAS A VERY WARM ATMOSPHERE AND INVITES GUESTS FOR COCKTAIL HOUR IN THE LIVING ROOM ATMOSPHERE LOBBY. THE ROOM WAS MODERN EUROPEAN STYLE AND KEPT VERY CLEAN. I WAS IN WALKING DISTANCE TO FISHERMANS WARF, LITTLE ITALY, NEIGHBORHOOD RESTAURANTS, DRUG STORE, GROCERY STORE AND CLOSE TO A BARNES AND NOBLE. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN.
“Best Hotel in San Francisco, maybe in USA! Friendly, good maintenance, clean excellent Managed!”
I can not belive that in those times a Hotel is so good an custommer related. We are Germans and live in Dubai where we have the biggest concentration of 5 Star Hotels. Every Hotel out of Dubai is mostly a disapointment for us as the standart is always lower. So was The Palace- Sheraton on Market Street last year. JUst by coincedence I booked the Tuscan and I was suppriced how good they were. The Hotel is excellent Managed. It is cozy and profesional. They made us feel good. For me this Hotel is a Promotion for the Best Western Group. When I go back to San Francisco I will always take the Tuscan Best Western and from now on I will check Best Western Hotels where ever I go. I thank the Genetral Manager from this Hotel for doing what her did, he takes his Job serious and the Hotel Guest has nothing to complain!
“Wer etwas besonderes sucht...”
Ein wunderschönes Erlebnis, in einer solch umtriebigen und großen Stadt - ganz nah am Fisherman's Wharf - ein ruhiges und angenehmes Hotel zu finden, in dem das außergewöhnlich freundliche und zugewandte Personal stets mit gutem Rat und jeglicher Hilfe zur Seite steht. Das Zimmer, das wir bewohnten, war nicht sehr groß, aber völlig ausreichend, sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der tägliche Empfang in der Lobby gibt bei Wein und anderen Getränken viele Gelegenheiten, mit anderen Gästen ins Gespräch zu kommen. Die Tram, Cable Car und andere öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind zu Fuß schnell erreichbar, um alle Gegenden dieser schönen Stadt zu erkunden. Ein ohne Einschränkung sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel.
“Very pleasant great service!”
We arrived late in the evening due to weather conditions coming from Southern Calif. We had no problem with check in. We were not in the room much but to sleep and get ready for the day. I would certainly stay there again and again. Rooms were very comfortable a little small but really how big does a room need to be just to sleep and shower!!

A European style boutique in the middle of Tourist America, with courteous and friendly service and cofortable, if a bit pretentious, decor. Nice amenities; all around good choice.

Lovely hotel, reasonably priced but everything you wanted or needed was available. Very clean and comfortable, lovely staff all very willing to help. Good location on Fisherman's Wharf.
“Praises all around!”
The location on the wharf was great. We were within walking distance of so many sights to see. The hotel restaurant was fabulous. The room was small but very cute and comfortable. The shampoos and lotions were herbal and smelled fantastic as well as felt good when used. they had a blow dryer as I forgot mine. The hotel staff was so very nice and accomodating. I definitely would go back to that hotel. We loved it!
“Great location”
The Tuscan Inn is located in a tourist friendly place, near lots of San Fran's attractions. It's just two blocks from Fisherman's Wharf (about 1/2 mile walk to Pier 33 where you catch the ferry to Alcatraz) 2-3 blocks from Ghirardelli candy factory, and both the Hyde St and the Powell & Mason St. cable car stops. We did not have a car and either walked or used MUNI to get around. Both North Beach and Chinatown neighborhoods are in a reasonable walking distance and we were near enough to walk to Crooked St too. We were in town to go to AT & T ballpark and it was just one MUNI bus ride away-- very easy to get to. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, telling us how to get to different places and use the MUNI and BART systems. We did eat one evening at the hotel restaurant, a VERY nice Italian restaurant, but usually we ate out wherever we were. There is also a Safeway and Trader Joe's just a block away ---we didn't realize that until our last day--- where you can stock up on snacks, beverages, water etc. The rooms are on the small size, but were clean and attractive. The hotel has free wine sampling nightly from 5- 6 in the lobby. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to sightsee etc.---probably not ideal for families since there isn't a pool. There is parking, but again ,we didn't use it so I can't comment on the prices etc.
“Very nice place”
My wife and I spent Oct 16-20 at the Tuscan Inn and found it very nice.The location was perfect. The room was small but very clean and nicely done. Staff was friendly and the concierge even produced a pair of "City Passes" someone had turned in and those allowed us to ride any bus, trolley or cable car for free. The biscotti breakfast snack was nice, as was the wine in the late afternoon. I would definitely stay at the Tuscan Inn again.
