Convenient and Affordable

Posted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: Location, free parking and price.
Location: It is a hotel just for sleeping after a day in the move, as long as you think of it that way, you are fine.
It is an old hotel, with good location and AFFORDABLE. There are no hotels in San Francisco area below $150 dlls and the ones in that price range should be in same conditions. PROS: It is well located, close to the airport, they have shuttle every 30 min, there are bus routes in front of the hotel directly to downtown, it has breakfast and free parking. CONS: It is old, some areas are surrounded by garbage containers, the outside of the rooms are ugly, the rooms area small. Just a walk thru the parking and you can take route 292 to downtown San Francisco (1 block from Union Square) for $2.25 ($4.00 the return trip). That is convenient. If you rented a car, the parking is free, most of the hotels closer to the city charge you 15-30 dlls for the parking, so this is also great.

Only one night

Posted Sep 15, 2014
I used this hotel for only one night after I came back Las Vegas. And next day I had to leave SF. So it's convenient to move to other areas because it's near the SFO airport. Shuttle buses are free and breakfast is simple, but free. The best made me feel happy was the spacious and beautiful garden between the apartments.

A 1 star at best

The hotel has 1 thing going for it-a shuttle to/from the airport. The hotel is a glorified motel that has seen better days for sure. For the same $ I'd stay elsewhere.

Airport Letdown

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: Staff were pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Rooms need to be updated and cleaner.
Location: Location to airport was good. Shuttle service was excellent.
The hotel was fine on check in - lobby and area dated but clean and welcoming - but the room did not live up to the lobby's billing. We had asked and paid for a king sized bed. We did not get one. The bathroom was ok as far as cleanliness went but there were old stains on the walls and carpet and the bedspread did not appear to have been washed in months. We removed it immediately. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay in it again.

Close to SFO

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Proximity to SFO
Cons: Certain members of the front desk staff need remedial customer service training.
This hotel was horribly over-priced but we chose it based on its proximity to the airport. Certain members of the front desk staff were completely preoccupied by phone inquiries versus taking care of the 10 plus people waiting in line to check in. The room was very basic and although not dirty, did not give a real sense of comfort. We didn't take our socks off until we were in bed. Given the other options available to us, the CitiGarden worked out for our needs, but if I can help it, I will not be staying there again.

Pros: There was service to the airport.
There were no towels of any kind in the room. Requested a set and still did not receive washcloths. Had to get the cloths from personnel working near the laundry.

Close to the airport is it's only selling point.

Pros: Breakfast. Proximity to airport. Online booking.
I had a flight delay so ended up staying in San Francisco for the night. This hotel was close and a decent price so I went for it. First off the check in process took FOREVER. I don't know what kind've software they are using, but I think it may need a serious upgrade. The young man behind the counter was not in any kind've hurry and wasn't exactly friendly. The bathrooms in the main hallway were a complete mess. They did offer a free breakfast which was great, but the dining room was so dirty! The room itself was a little outdated, but you can tell they tried to make some upgrades. It got very few channels and the reception was horrible. The room size was decent. It was just an "okay" experience, I would not recommend.

The hotel was ok. It was comfortable.

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: The price and that it was easy to find.
Cons: Put a coffee machine in the room. Update the décor and clean the carpets. Also get a flat screen for the rooms and make sure there are towels.
Location: It was located near the freeway and convenient to get to. There was an IHOP restaurant down the street and that is where I had to go to get coffee.
The décor was outdated and the carpets were dirty but the beds were comfortable. The TV was very old maybe a 20 inch from the 1980s the old big cathode ray tube tv. There were no towels when we first got there. There was no coffee maker with coffee in the room. No refrigerator or microwave. I guess you get what you pay for. I had to attend a wedding and I had to reserve a room for 8 people. I mainly choose this place because of the cost as I had to stay there for a couple of days. Thankfully I did not need to spend much time in the room other than to sleep in.
