“extremely satisfied”

we were extremely satisfied with this hotel. When we went into the room we found it extremely satisfying. The free breakfast was extremely satisfying. The rug was extremely satisfying. The desk clerk did everything he/she could to extremely satisfy us. If you go to this hotel you will be extremely satisfied.

“Not good for out of towners”

The cable didn't work. Before I arrived I called ahead to ask about HBO. I'm a True Blood fan and didn't want to miss an episode. Got to the hotel and none of the rooms had HBO not even the bar area. I was told by the front desk it was due to cable service changes. Also, I had to be given different room keys due to the room keys given didn't work. I was let in with a master key then later brought a room key. The bathroom was not cleaned properly. Water was on the sink as well as hair.

“Not good outside look, BUT great inside setting”

The location is good. The parking lot is narrow due to crowd San Francisco. The outside look is not good, actually a little too obsolete. But the inside of room is really great, have everything and neat comfortable. I would recommend it compare to the price. By the way, the breakfast waffle is delicious.

In downtown, near this hotel. Because it would save toll for commute through bridge.

Getting around

Must make a plan and save at least 1 day for enjoying the view and the events along CA-1 Hwy. Really great.

“Nice Room, great price and free breakfast”

Overall this was a great place. They are remodling rooms and outside. SO outside does not look the best and parking is a little difficult but is in the back and gated. The room asre very nice, clean , updated and ammenities. The breakfast was great also. Staff was nice and helpful when asking for directions to resturants. We are already palnning our next trip. It was well worth the cost we paid.

Getting around

I had never been to San Franciso and driving was crazy be prepared for long waits to move around the town. If you can park and walk.

“A tourist in my hometown”

The inn is in renovation so maybe that's why I had such a good deal. Not in that good of neighborhood but still great location (walking distance from Civic Center and downtown). Room was great. Clean, good amenities. Completely updated but do ask for non-smoking. Mix of other guests from foreigners to druggies maybe but mostly foreigners. Prices will probably go up after renovations are completed but would highly recommend this motel for the non-snooty tourist or native for that matter. Oh, and very nice dining room with comparable continental breakfast (waffles...yummy...and organic milk!)

“Adequate”

A bit noisy, but adequate. There is a bar/restaurant next to the hotel. There was quite a bit noise until the early AM. If you have ear plugs, it's no issue.

“Civic Center Satisfaction”

I stayed here for an event at the DNA Lounge. Great and convenient location, stylish and comfortable rooms. Only complaint is the tiny parking lot and difficult access to stairs due to construction.

“Decent place to sleep”

Clean and modern"ish" room w good location. Maintenance to exterior in progress. Decent place to stay
