Very nice stay, enjoyed the location a lot.Posted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: Location, free breakfast, free wireless.
Location: Palace Fine Arts, Presidio - walking distance by Bus - Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf , Alcatraz, Union Square, Coit Tower, Ghirardeli Square
The hotel was affordable. It was simple but clean. The location was great, close to the Presidio Park and Palace Fine Arts (Marina District), short drive/bus ride to the Golden Gate Bridge. There is a Walgreens about 2 blocks from the hotel. You can take the Metro Bus on Chestnut or Lombard and it pretty much takes your everywhere for $2/person (for 3 hours). Hotel offers a small breakfast, muffins/croissants/danishes, coffee/tea/juice, fruit. (no place to sit, you can bring a tray and take to eat in your room). I recommend this hotel and I would go back.

Nice room for a night or twoPosted Nov 24, 2013
Pros: Quiet. Comfortable bed.
Comfortable bed. Quiet room, no road noise. Bathroom nice enough. Wouldn't want to stay here many nights in a row, fine for a night or two. The cleaning could be improved. But nothing gross: like mold or cigarette smoke, no strange odors. Humidity in room was fine. Surrounding area was safe.

A basic room,an OK place to spend the night, not to hang out in. Pretty good location, friendly and helpful staff.

We wanted a quaint motel within walking distance of golden gate bridge and fishermans wharf..3 mile circumferance..this is an affordable, nice motel. The tradeoff for this motel is..walls are thin, limited parking. Will definitely stay again..

Decent hotel close to the SF bay area.Posted Nov 12, 2013
Pros: Great customer service, clean and comfortable bed.
Cons: The continental breakfast is coffee, juice and pastry from a local bakery but they don't have room for anything else.
Location: Safe location on Lombard Street and a quick car or bus ride to Fisherman's Wharf.
This hotel was just what we needed. Since the hotels in SF are extremely expensive we were hoping to find an affordable hotel that was clean and comfortable and that is what we got. For less than $100.00 we had a clean comfortable room in a safe neighborhood on Lombard street. The staff was very helpful in helping us find things and even went out of their way to help us find the tour bus. I would highly recommend a stay in this hotel!

Took a impulse last minute trip, this little place is down the way from The Palace of Fine Art's and the Marina ,You can walk to Chestnut street and find a variety of Restaurants and shops. The staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating . The wi-fi worked well and helped in planning trips it's real close to the Golden Gate Bridge .Oh I forgot to mention it was the best price ever at the last minute.

Great location; good value and roomPosted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Clean and nicely furnished and the staff was great.
Cons: more towels in bathroom. only enough for one person. A microwave would be good, too.
Location: close to Golden Gate Bridge and lots of places to eat on Chestnut St.
This motel is located in the Marina District of SF on Lombard St one of the busiest traffic streets in SF, BUT the motel is located on the first block and it had NO traffic!! Therefore, NO TRAFFIC NOISE. Parking is limited, but I had no issue finding parking on nearby streets. Great location and neighborhood. Excellent free coffee in the morning and pastries from a real SF bakery and not wrapped in cellophane. The bed was harder than I am used to but sheets and bed spread were good and clean. The room and bathroom was very clean, though there were barely enough towels. TV had Comcast cable and it worked and the room was a bit cold and we used the heater and it worked. Also included in the room was a frig, blow dryer and iron. No microwave. The furnishings were comparable to a Super Eight motel. Not worn and tired. The owner was terrific;helpful and personable. For the price, this place far exceeded what I would have expected and I can recommend it without reservations.

So so HotelPosted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: Erm, nothing really
Cons: breakfast, cleaning of room on daily basis
Location: Museum of Fine Art is just blocks away
For an average of $200 per night, it's really not worth staying at this hotel. The room was small, and tight. Someone smoking at my door step, smokes got in to the room. The room is run down and housekeeping didn't make up our room. The breakfast was really basic so don't expect too much. It's quite a distance to Fisherman's Wharf if you wish to walk....
