“My San Mateo preferred hotel”

The gym facilities were awesome. the service was very good. buffet was excellent for morning breakfasts.

“my mistake”

no late night meal or drink facilities if you don't want to go to overly loud bistro with party in full swing (too loud to even get in front door). airport shuttle advertised on web page not available during certain hours - not noted in advertisement. staff not helpful for guests without car for interesting things to do in area.

“Great Hotel with a great price!”

My experience started out very well at the front desk when I attempted to check in (very) early for my one night stay. The helpful woman at the desk said no problem and asked me if I had any other questions about the hotel or neighborhood. She helped me to find a good seafood restaurant very quickly and wrote out directions. The executive room was neat and clean and was very confortable. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to restaurants and shopping centers (Target and other retailers close by). This is a great place that makes you feel at home. I will be back.

“Convenient location near SFO”

The hotel is in good location near small shopping area that has choices of restaurants and shops. We stayed there for couple nights in bay area and found that the location is pretty convenient for us to commute. The hotel provides free parking and also free internet which are really important to us. We don't get the free breakfast with our stay but that is OK anyway. The room is clean and comfortable. We have problem with the hot water on the first night but they fixed it right after we call. So far, it was a good experience staying here.

“What a pleasant surprise!”

What a great get-a-way! Went to stay for the night and wished I could have stayed for two. The indoor pool and spa were perfect. The room was very clean and nice (I loved the ear plugs, eye mask, and lavender linen spray they provided...it was a nice touch). The bed was super comfortable! The nightclub was an added bonus to our night time entertainment. We had a lot of fun! We really did enjoy our stay and will be back next time we come to the city!

“Friendly staff, daily swimming, great coffee”

Enjoyed swimming each day. The exercise room was adequate, although without a fan, it was very hot. The coffee in the room was excellent, but the hotel restaurants offered little for vegetarians. Not much in walking distance for us either. Nearby Target had fresh fruit.

The shuttle conveyed us to BART which gave us free reign to travel about. With the outstanding bus and tram connections, it was great!

The San Francisco opera was a MUST. Breathtaking!

“Nice place to stay close to the airport”

You won't regret choosing this hotel. It's comfortable and is a short drive to SFO airport.

“great value”

Really liked this hotel, a little further away from the airport and the shuttle only runs on the hour, however, the room was big and clean and included wifi and parking. Baytrail is close by, other than that didn't spend any time locally but would stay there again when going to or from SFO. Shuttle takes 15 minutes to get to the airport and you need to call for pick up but didn't have to wait long. Staff were pleasant and nice facilities at the hotel (pool, fitness centre, restuarants, undercover parking etc).
