“clean the room rugs”

The major complaints we have are with the filth of the carpet in our room and the breakfast that was the least desirable of any motel I have been in in the last two years.

we found bugs in our bed, and the shower did not drain properly. then after getting a second room the toilet would not flush. will not stay here again.

“Handy and Comfortable”

Handy location. Room was comfortable. Swimming pool well maintained and comfortable for swim. Continental breakfast: orange juice sub-standard, a bit watery; sweet rolls slightly unsatisfactory, a bit too dough-y; cold cereal OK; toast, no comment, not eaten; overall continental breakfast experience: satisfactory, to the expectations. Wake up machine was not working, but I woke up by myself, so not a problem. Hospitableness of office staff: very nice. Overall experience: very nice.

“Days Inn, Redwood City”

Wanted a hotel at a reasonable price near SF airport, which this one is. Unfortunately we left before taking our luggage in as the room was very dirty and towels had not been changed; there were tears in the screen of the window. Cannot recommend this hotel.

“The most horrible hotel in the world”

I checked into the Days Inn, 2650 El Camino Real Redwood City, CA, around 9.00pm on August 3, 2011 and fund that a horrible story is waiting for me: 1. The room temperature is very high so that I have to turn on the noisy air condition to cool it down. Later I figured out that the room heater is always on in the summer condition. I called the front desk and the lady said that you have to adjust the control button to “a proper position”, but I had never managed to get this done. So I have to bear the noisy air condition through the whole night! 2. The most horrible thing is the tap water. I initially used some water to cook a cup of fast-food noddle. However, later I noticed that the water appeared to be yellow color (I did not notice this problem initially until I fund that the yellow colored water was running into the blocked bath room sink). 3. The male manager who lives inside the hotel was very rude and unprofessional. After I complained to the front desk lady about the problems. It appeared that this manager said to the front desk lady that “there is no worry for the yellow color water and it is not contaminated”. When the lady referred my case to him in a “face to face” situation, he simply said “do you want check out?” and later he claimed that he is not in duty and needs “a personal life after working”.
