Conveniently located with free off-street parking

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Room was nice size and the off-street parking close to room is a big plus for security.
Cons: Walls and ceiling (we were on bottom floor) seemed extremely "thin", as we could easily hear others above and next to our room.
Able to access both Hwy 101 & Hwy 84 easily, which we found convenient as we were touring on motorcycles, giving easy access to the coast, as well as San Francisco.

Very acceptable for the price

Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: location location location! The bed was clean and comfy, the shower worked. Shampoo was ok. the room felt clean and well cared for, just dated.
Cons: The continental breakfast was adequate but not inspired at all. The fixtures in the bathroom needed replacement.
Location: it's in the heart of everything! 5 minutes drive to whatever you need. Don't miss downtown Redwood City!
Redwood City/Atherton/Menlo Park are such wealthy communities that we felt lucky to find a place that was so inexpensive. The Days Inn wasn't fancy or particularly well appointed but it was easy to find, very well located in proximity to LOTS of amenities, clean and comfortable. TOTALLY worth the money we spent. Not a luxury stay by any means but it was acceptable by all accounts, especially for the price. If you just need a few inexpensive nights in the area, I would highly recommend it!

504 not a good room in the summer

Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: Cheap, but you get what you pay for. It was close to the Stanford Hospital.
Cons: A second air con in 504 would improve it.
Location: Good location
504 is a large suite but the air con only cools one room, the bedroom, bath room and kitchenette have hot water lines under the floor so they never cooled down. Even the cold water in the bath room was hot. Rug needed to be steam cleaned.

Stay at Days Inn

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: All but having no internet.
Cons: No WI FI in room the whole 3 nights, mentioned at desk to 2 desk persons. Unfortunately this was major disappointment.
Great location to stay near San Francisco to save money.

Not what you pay for.

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: Make sure the rooms are clean and give rooms you pay for.
Location: It was close to the freeway.
Paid for the last remaining room for the night and it was the most expensive due to the standard rooms were sold out. Upon arrival, I entered the office prior to five others. I was put in line behind them then told they were sold out. I advised the manager that I had confirmation for a room with a balconey and he stated Expedia over booked them. Instead of getting the expensive room I paid for, that were available at the time, I was giving a standard room that he said was a better room. When I questioned him in regards to getting refund for the difference between a standard room and that of the room with a balconey($30 more per night), he told me to take it up with Expedia; it was their fault.Upon entering room, it was filthy dirty with some unknown substance on the walls and door. I contacted the manager and was told the room was cleaned prior to our arrival. It was clearly not. Thank god we were only there for 6 hours.

It's ok

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Cons: If breakfast is advertised till 9:30, have breakfast until 9:30
They advertised free breakfast until 9:30 am. I showed up 3 days in a row well before 9:30 to only find nothing left. I guess they dont replenish it. Wifi was not working at all. My key card to get into the hotel room wouldnt work half the time.
