Not so bad hotel if you're looking for a cheap onePosted May 21, 2015
Does not have a lot of selection for breakfast. The bathroom was a little bit dirty. I found hairs on the shower area. There were dust under the beds. Although the beds were comfortable enough.

Very Nice StayPosted May 2, 2015
Pros: Efficient. Friendly. Comfortable. Quiet. Clean. Inexpensive.
Cons: Was happy with everything.
Location: The location was very close to our destination, /stanford University hospital. Easy to get to. Located close to everything we needed. Restaurants, etc
Very clean, comfortable and nicely set back from the main street. When I called to request a wake-up call for the next morning the desk clerk heard a noise that caused her to worry one of us may have fallen. She came to the room immediately to check on us. Very nice. Very comfortable, enjoyable stay. Would recommend to everyone.

Front desk lady was cold, breakfast was terriblePosted Apr 20, 2015
I called a day before our check in to ask for a downstairs room because we have a olderly traveler who walk with cane, but when we get there they said the hotel is all booked, no room available downstairs, but they won't try the next day. On the second day, I asked again in the morning, the front desk lady told me to write it down on a piece paper, she will mentioned to the next front desk Clark. I received a call couple hours later, still nothing available. Their breakfast was very limited and they don't refill once something run out. One morning I got there at 8:50, and there were hardly anything to eat. We booked a suite, it's eve roomy but the couch was very dated, so as the kitchen. One window has no screen, the other can't open, handl was broken with tape around it. One lady was at the front desk a lot, maybe the owner, she was very cold and rude. Never smile or greet anyone. I saw her refuse to give a lady her receipt because she booked through a website. I will never stay in the place again.

Close to Menlo CollegePosted Apr 1, 2015
Pros: proximity to college
Stayed two nights and first time we used toilet it clogged. Asked staff for plunger and was ignored, ended up going to Target and purchasing one. Be careful if your around during the day, the cleaning staff will randomly dump water over balcony from second floor. Stayed at four hotels on trip and this one by far had the worst breakfast.

Pros: It's back from busy ECR. Convenient. Nice looking pool and gazebo.
Location: Near Stanford Hospital, shopping center.
I had 2 quiet nights in a room with the amenities I needed. Very relaxing.

Pros: Set back off busy road and the price was right
Cons: the keyless entry kept failing each night when I came back to my room which was usually late.
Location: Was at the local hospital for a parent.
The hotel is set back from the road so you don't hear road noise, which I experienced with other hotels in the area. It was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. I would stay here again.

Budget friendly for frequent trips to StanfordPosted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Location and cost
Cons: Clean the carpets and teach the front desk how to do their jobs
Location: Close to Stanford hospital
The hotel staff seems to be totally untrained, but the rooms are OK. I only require a bed, TV and shower for my frequent overnights to Stanford hospital, and this is reasonably close and within my budget. The rooms could be cleaner (carpets made my bare feet black) but the beds are pretty new and comfortable. The staff seems confused no matter who is at the front desk. Don't bother with the packaged oatmeal breakfast.

1 night stay for business in areaPosted Mar 25, 2015
Reasonably priced. We needed to stay in area for business. Beds were uncomfortable and too soft and uneven. Not enough support.

Convenient, quiet affordable stay in Redwood CityPosted Mar 15, 2015
Pros: Fair price, convenient, clean, quiet. The room was spacious.
Cons: a better selection at breakfast.
Location: The downtown has great restaurants, bars and a theatre. It is close to the Caltrain and highway. We went up into the hills and walked trails.
We checked in and out of the Days Inn three times during a two week business/pleasure trip to Redwood City. It was conveniently located to the downtown and the highway. We stayed in the back block and the front and both were very quiet. There was a continental breakfast served with a limited selection, but enough to get your day started. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We even spent an afternoon by the pool and visited. For the price and convenience it was well worth the stay.
