Parking though free is limited and not guaranteed. The room smelled. Layout of rooms was not visitor friendly. The hotel is older and needs a makeover! The front desk lady was rude.

Very Nice Location & PricePosted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: There is a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Free wi-fi was fast. Location allows you to walk to wonderful restaurants. Public transit is good.
Cons: For the price, nothing needs to be improved.
Location: Symphony, Opera, Ballet, fine (and budget) dining -- in fact a huge variety of places to eat/drink within walking distance.
If you are going to San Francisco for Pride -- or any event located in the Civic Center area -- this is a wonderful location. There is free/limited parking. You can walk to all the great shops/restaurants in Hayes Valley. Free breakfast -- although there are so many nice brunch/breakfast places in walking distance that it isn't needed. Room is clean, comfortable and felt safe. Good TV offerings/reception. Price at this time was very reasonable.

Shabby old hotel in excellent locationPosted Jun 14, 2015
Cons: Not much could be done to fix up this tired old building.
Location: The Civic Center, War Memorial Opera House, Symphony Hall, Asian Museum of Art, Conservatory, and many excellent restaurants are within a few blocks.
We've been regulars for years at this Days Inn, mainly because it is two blocks from the opera house and symphony hall. Frankly, it doesn't have much competition in this location, so we keep coming back. The staff are very friendly, and we've gotten to know them well. We usually take one of the suites, which are a bargain given their size.

just what you need when visiting the downtown areaPosted May 1, 2015 on Hotels
Close to bart and some amazing restaurants. As well as the symphony hall, cant beat the price or location, if you're a modest traveler.

clean hotel, everything workedPosted Apr 30, 2015 on Hotels
Quick one night business stop, clean hotel, everything worked, walking distance to food, good wifi. With free parking in SF for overnight, it was a good price.

Good location, clean hotel, but nothing fancy.Posted Apr 25, 2015 on Hotels
Hotel was clean inside and it was quiet at night. Great restaurants near by, about a 10 minutes walk to the civic center. Would recommend if you aren't looking for anything fancy.

Stay was Ok Good location within city with easy access to public transportation. Breakfast offerings were sparse - cold cereal, trast, no waffles or muffins. Staff was not real friendly or helpful
