Good location. Very basic accomodation.

Hotel could do some upgrading of rooms. Nevertheless we had a good stay given the good location of the hotel--close to shops, restaurants, and bus stops.

Great Location and value

Posted Jan 18, 2015
Pros: location
This hotel is very convenient to he performing arts and government buildings. It is clean and comfortable and has free parking in front of the rooms. One block to the symphony, opera, ballet and lots of restaurants and shops within a short walk. Will definitely stay here again when attending a concert or opera.

Close to civic center

Great hotel... as long as you're not staying in room 102... or else all you will hear is a door slamming during seven am to ten am because of the breakfast.. it's literally impossible to sleep..

Ok location, mediocre accommodations

Posted Dec 31, 2014
Pros: Location. Near bus stops. We took a bus to Fisherman's wharf, rented bikes and biked from SF across Golden Gate to Sausalito and took ferry back.
Cons: Facility needs some upgrade. Breakfast could improve. Coffee is plain awful.
Location: Market Street is walking distance. Public transport is nearby so we just parked our car in the hotel.
One thing that made us book was the moderate room price plus free parking. Note that parking is VERY limited. We parked 4 blocks away in the street and woke up very early the next day looking out our window waiting for someone to vacate a spot. We finally secured a spot at 730am but it was pretty stressful. The room is very basic and the breakfast is even more basic. This is a no frills place in a good location. Near public transport and walking distance to Market Street.

Clean, updated rooms, great location.

Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: Central location, off street parking, helpful employees, clean, modern room, morning breakfast. Also quite location.
Cons: Fruit should be offered with breakfast.
Location: Location is quite, close to public transportation and is walking distance to Civic Center and theaters.
We enjoyed easy, quick check-in. Upon entering the room we found a rather small totally updated comfortable accommodation including a very nicely appointed bathroom.

Nice, reasonably priced hotel in San Francisco, CA

Pros: The night clerk on 11-23 and 11-24-14. He made us feel welcome and special. The pillows are great! Wish I could have a couple. Comfy beds!
Cons: Teach the two day clerks patience and better customer service attitudes. 11-24 and 11-25-14
Location: There were nice restaurants and a grocery store nearby. The walk to city hall and our Hop on Hop Off bus stop wasn't too far for us old ladies!
We drove in from the Oakland Airport in the evening. We didn't know the area and got lost, but the night clerk (a young, indian gent) stayed with us on the phone and brought us in easily. Our room immediately smelled like smoke and the wonderful night clerk dropped everything and changed our room immediately. We loved him! Too bad the next two female day clerks weren't nice at all. The first gal got mad at us because we had to have her open the breakfast room door when we couldn't get it open for us. The next gal got mad at us when we went down and let her know that we were running a few minutes behind at check out time. We wish we had the night clerk the whole time. The tv kept blacking out every once in a while and popping back on in a couple mins. I was going to report it, but I didn't want to deal with the day clerk on the last day anymore than we had to.
