“After Zoo”

If you know you will be tired after the zoo, especailly with small chidlren this is a decent place to stay. Walking distance from zoo and good returants walking distance or quick drive.

“It was just, OK”

I'm not a picky person but this place was not bad if you're looking just for a place to sleep. I didnt feel to comfortable sleeping there but for the price I did expect a little more cleanliness. The walls had several stains on them and these are things that I am never picky about, which was a complete turn off. Also the soap,body lotion and shampoo all are in a dispenser, which is really good if you're trying to cut cost but does not feel inviting. Lastly, this was the first place ever in my time of traveling that we were not allowed to stay past check out. However, for location it is great. Near many bus lines as well as Union St which has alot of good dining.

“Comfortable”

The room was comfortable, spacious, and more than adequately furnished. There was a refrigerator and microwave. The king-size bed was comfortable. The location was very convenient for us on the west side of the city, walking distance to the ocean and the zoo, with basement parking. The price was right! Negatives: Our window looked out directly on the interior parking lot. There was a car parked right on the other side of the glass. And the breakfast was awful. It was laid out in a hallway, with nice, fresh English muffins and white bread for toasting. But there were no plates or napkins to put your toast on! Were we supposed to just juggle it? I ended up carrying my muffin in the plastic ice bucket from my room. There was only artificial butter, and the grocery store pastries were moldy. There were a few bits of fresh fruit, and apple juice from a dispenser, but the OJ was gone. There was a coffee dispenser, and hot water, but no tea bags. I was disappointed. Otherwise, the accommodations were more than adequate.

“Would never go back to this hotel”

We would never go back to this hotel. The bed was horrible. You could feel the springs. Very uncomfortable. The shower was not working properly. The room overall looked dirty. We couldn't wait to get out of there.

“TERRIBLE SERVICE & CONDITION”

I HAD MEDICAL TESTS @ V.A. HOSPITOL. WE WENT TO OUR ROOM & THE SMELL WAS TERRIBLE. THERE WAS A MACHINE RUNNING IN THE ROOM FOR THE SMELL BUT IT DID'NT WORK. THE TOILET SEAT WAS BROKEN & THE AC DID NOT WORK. I COMPLAINED, BUT SUDDENLY THE MANAGER COULD NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. THEY REFUSED TO CHANGE ROOMS, AND AFTER A POINT I FELT THEY WERE DISCRIMINATING AGAINST BECAUSE I WAS A VETERAN. GREAT LOCATION, TERRIBLE SERVICE.

“Reasonable price for San Francisco”

The hotel was clean and well kept. It even provided a limited continental breakfast for the very reasonable price. It had free parking as well. It was close to the beach and the zoo. Restaurants within walking distance.

“Very nice for an overnighter. Across street from zoo and beach.”

The hotel was clean and quiet. The coffee pot in the room didn't work but there was a very nice coffee house next door. Parking was free, which is unusual in SF. We would go back again.

“Not as pictured or described”

This hotel was terrible. When checking in, we were sent to the wrong room. When we told the attendant that there was no such room, he sent us to an outside room. Upon entering the room, we were almost knocked over by the smell of cigarettes and urine. This was supposed to be the non smoking room. Parking was a nightmare, very tight. We will definately never stay there again.
