We want to express our thank you for the warm accomodation extended to us during our stay at Days Inn Oyster Point. The room was clean, and my group were very satisfied and happy. Thank you and we will come back again.

“Poor breakfast”

We knew this was not going to be the best hotel we would ever stay in, but it would suffice for what we needed we thought, but the breakfast was almost non existent. Coffee (horrible), weak orange juice and a pastry (I think!) in a packet, that was all that was offered, we needed to go and buy breakfast every day as my children would not eat it, and I was actually glad of that. We also had a problem with our booking as the hotel said we were only booked as a party of 4 but we were actually 5, and even though I had all the paperwork with me, they insisted it was me who was wrong!

“You'll get what you'v paid”

Very nice reception, affordable and clean room. Needs some improvement especially for breakfast.

I'd stayed in this hotel previously and found it in better condition and the staff more friendly than I remembered. All in all though, still clean, reasonably priced and convenient to my destination and the airport.

“Would stay again”

Over all it was good, room was clean, housekeeping was prompt, location was not bad, just make a U-turn to get to highway. Nice sandwich shop within walking distance. Hotel is close to highway, so you will hear cars if your fan is not on, but is was not too bad. They have a breakfast but it is not worth your time unless you want fruit or danish. I Hop is right up the road. The hotel staff was nice and helpful.

“Their taxi service is really poor, and they never contacted you if you had a concern”

I expected they provide shuttle bus but they only had taxi service. It's okay BUT their taxi service is really poor. Ignoring a foreigner and unfamiliar with the SFO airport I am, the taxi company is very impatient to guide me how to take their taxi, gave me the WRONG instruction and yelled at me which made me took the wrong taxi. This Days Inn refuse to handle my case. I left a letter to the manager but he is always out and never contacted me since 3 weeks has passed. Don't expect too much to be respected in this Days Inn!! : (

Low quality hotel for the price. Not anywhere near a BART station.

“Good value; convenient location”

It was a friendly little hotel. I wasn't paying attention, or it wasn't noted, when I booked that I had reserved a smoking room. I'm not a smoker, and found that the room had heavy residual smoke smell, and the decor seemed dingy from the smoke as well. The residual smoke smell was strong enough that more than one person noticed that it had been picked up on my clothes. One of the lamps was inoperative, and despite a couple requests to fix during the course of a 4 night stay, it never got done. That said, although this is by no means a luxury hotel, the staff was always friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and I found the location convenient both to my destinations in the city and SFO. Easy access right off the 101, and there were a few restaurants within a few minutes drive. I'd stay there again, but will make sure when booking future reservatiions that I specify non-smoking rooms.

“A room and a parking place--no yard--can't go outside”

The room assigned to us smelled so bad of smoking--we want non-smoking. The door was propped open airing it out--and remained that way all week--yet they tried to foist it on us. The manager went out of his way to be kind. He found us a non-smoking room (the handicap one) but it had one bed instead of two and was very tiny. It was an all cement yard with parking under the hotel so we could not stay around--room too small. The continental breakfast was in the tiny lobby (just a place to stand at the desk) and was celephane wrapped sweet rolls and coffee and juice. The hotel was on a one-way so it was always a pain to go up some block and turn around to go anywhere. I wouldn't stay there again, but it was okay this time because we had places to go.
