Roomy, Nice Extras, Parking Charge!

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Nice amenities - full breakfast, evening reception, large rooms.
Cons: Free parking
Location: Over on Grand St there were many restaurants. Getting into downtown SF was not too bad after 9AM.
Our stay at the Embassy was typical to that at other Embassy properties. We had a large room that easily accommodated our party of 5. The hotel has many nice perks such as a hot, cooked to order breakfast, that really saves a lot of time and money. The evening reception of drinks and snacks is nice if you make it back to the hotel in time - they are generous with the drinks. So, overall, I do like the Embassy brand. This airport location hotel, however, was, IMO, a bit pricey, though I know its San Francisco and nothing is inexpensive there. But, what bothered me is that they charge for parking! Downtown, you expect that, but not at a more suburban location. It didn't seem like neighboring hotels were charging for parking, either. However, the morning cook staff were nice, the housekeeping were pleasant and responsive, so I am not complaining. I think if they ditched the parking fee I would give them a 5.

Breakfast Buffett was great. They even included complimentary evening cocktails. Beds and pillows were comfy. They had all the amenities we needed. Their restaurant food was great. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere.

Pros: Free cooked breakfast not just a few packages of stale rolls out ona counter. Cooked to order eggs were great.
Cons: Remodel and allow guest to choose air conditioning or heat not a centrally controlled system.
Location: Ok location easy access to the airport.
Ok the shuttle service was slow. It was cold outside but they had the AC ON.

Never again!

Posted Jun 12, 2015
Pros: location, courtyard
Cons: Please read my 'experience'.
I have always been of the impression that Embassy Suites is one of the best. Boy, was I wrong! While the staff were unquestionably courteous, helpful and efficient, and the complimentary food ok, the chesterfield (sofa bed?) was all spring and practically no mattress! It was the most uncomfortable night I've even had bar none. I've slept in jungles, rural areas in Third World countries, out in the open field on exploration and camping trips -- nothing beats this one. Three days after my stay I still feel the aches and pains all over my body!!! I strongly suggest that an immediate evaluation of each room be initiated and applicable changes be made. One more thing: there is no justification for the $22 parking charge! Bragging about 'in and out privileges' is meaningless. It is obviously a 'cheap' attempt to nickel and dime your patrons. Please stop fooling around with this silly economics/accounting razzmatazz!

Spacy and comfortable

Posted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: Near from the Airport, spacy, many parking lots
Cons: It would be better that the building itself be renovated.
Location: The location near the airport is good enough to say that it is good location.
I am much satisfied that the bedroom is separated from working space.

Good hotel close to airport

The room was very spacious and clean. The hotel was very busy the weekend we stayed and had a lot of parties happening. Trying to get in the pool with a ton of kids was hard. There were 6 chairs and no towels. The breakfast was good and included, but just crowded, wake up early. The atmosphere is nice and clean.
