we loved itPosted Aug 26, 2014
Location: we wanted to be out of SF but close enough to get to downtown SF for tourist stuff. We really enjoy this location.
we had not stayed at an Embassy for a long time. Forgot about how nice they were. This property filled all of our needs. Great breakfast, nice cocktail hour, quiet, great view of the bay, perfect location, nice neighborhood, easy parking, clean and comfortable. Thanks

What you see on Expedia is not what you get...Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: The grounds are immaculate! Large hotel with room for guests to roam around and not feel bunched up. The tropical feel inside is wonderful.
Cons: The pool had tons of chlorine in it, although not a huge issue because I washed it off it was still relatively strong for such a small pool.
Location: Not too far from San Francisco it only took us about 20 min by freeway. The airport is only 10 minutes away.
I booked through Expedia and the description of the room sold me, " Deluxe room w/ bay view" , well needless to say we got a room with a view of a parking lot. When I checked in I asked the nice man if my room was overlooking the water, and he said it was not because those rooms are actually cost like $300 , I was a little insulted by this. I told him that on the website it clearly states a bay front room (not all rooms are facing the water). Believe me I understand the entire hotel is directly facing the water but some rooms have better views than other and my room should of been one of them. When I got up to my room and noticed my parking lot view room and called downstairs and explained that I had booked a "bay view" room, the front desk said that Expedia has the wrong room description, and for the price I paid I was in the correct room. Despite the unsettling room issue upon check-in, the hotel is beautiful! It feels like a little piece of Hawaii in the Bay area. My morning walk was perfect after my complimentary breakfast, and the grounds are nicely kept. Overall, my experience was nice but next time I think I'll book my room directly with the hotel to avoid confusion. However, the hotel should take a little responsibility and not blame it on Expedia.

ComfortPosted Aug 19, 2014
The rooms were nice but it took a while for us to get extra towels when requested. I would, also, encourage soy-, dairy-, egg-, gluten-free options at breakfast.

Great Hotel - Definitely Recommend.Posted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: Location, Breakfast, Happy Hour and clean.
Location: All San Francisco attractions nearby; Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, etc. Close by is a K1 indoor go kart racing, Candlestick park, etc.
We stayed at this hotel 3 times during our 2 week vacation in San Fran. It is close to the Airport, close to Candlestick park, and on the water so great views. Easy 15 minute drive into the city and to all the attractions, Pier 39, Golden Gate Bridge and Lombard street. The hotel has a full complimentary breakfast each morning and a free Happy hour every night with Beer, wine and snacks. We obviously had a different room each time we stayed there but it was very clean, comfortable and roomy for all 5 of us.

Great hotel. Everything close enough.Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Bay view, nice employees, great breakfast, spacious room.
Location: Few restaurants nearby. BART station at the airport very handy.
We loved our stay here. Beautiful bay view and far enough away from the city, but B.A.R.T. could get us there in no time when we were ready. Loved being able to watch the planes land and take off. Nice walking/running path around the bay. All employees were very helpful in helping us get around. Very spacious room. Smelled and looked new. Breakfast every morning was delicious. Perfect for our family of 4!
