Nice setting but accommodations were disappointingPosted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: See comments above
Cons: See comments above.
Location: Very limited restaurant selection in the area.
For being an airport property, the location is lovely. It's right on the water and there is a great view of the bay. My room had a number of problems. The TV in the bedroom didn't work, the hair dryer was sticky and disgusting and the room consistently felt damp despite the A/C running. I was able to get the bedroom TV fixed but wifi in the bedroom area would not stay connected which forced me to only be able to work in the "living room" area. For the price, I was disappointed in the accommodations.

Great Hotel and Location, Restaurant Terrible...Posted Jun 17, 2015
Cons: The restaurant
We chose this hotel due to its location near the airport and its on the bay with the bay trail right out the door. Perfect for us to beat our jet lag, the pool is nice, the "free" drinks at night are nice and its a pretty good spread with the breakfast too. All good stuff here. But, the restaurant is terrible, ate dinner there, not cheap and bad all round. Go elsewhere to pay for food.

Family FriendlyPosted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: All the amenities even if we did have to pay for parking. If felt safe the surrounding area.
Cons: The whole wristband thing was annoying considering it was not even enforced.
Location: We really like the views and the bay trail. The pondsin the hotel and pool. I think we spent most of our day in the more turist parts of SF.
This hotel was an excellent choice. We needed a suite with the double beds and sofa bed. It was large independent areas with two separate TVs. The microwave mini fridge were convenient as well. We enjoyed breakfast, it had so much variety, buffet style and the omelets were so freshly made. The evening complimentary cocktails and chips brought out a lot of the guest and it was defiently a lively ambience. The bay trail was excellent for walks, runs, taking in the views and exploring. As a family who spent their day exploring SF coming back to this hotel was a peaceful pleceant way to start and end our days. Also the staff were friendly and our request were provided with genuine hospitable assistance.

Beautiful Hotel, Terrible StaffPosted Jun 15, 2015
The ladies at the front desk are extremely rude. When I asked how much we were paying total, the woman failed to tell us about the incidental fee which was going to be 200$. She was going to charge that money to my account without telling me. The servers at the Tap and Tavern do not care about your experience at the hotel and it is so obvious. After a long day of walking around the city, we came back to our hotel at 11pm and were extremely hungry. We sat down, the waitress took our drink order, came back 5 minutes later, took out dinner order, came back 5 minutes later to only tell us that they couldn't make good because the grills were turned off already which she failed to inform us when we sat down. They even refused to make us salads. The breakfast and the decor of the hotel was amazing. Our room was great but the patios they have are in-accessible. (They lock after opening a few inches) The free hotel shuttle from the hotel to the airport and back, are extremely in reliable. We were waiting for over an hour at the airport for our shuttle back and so were a bunch of other people and when I called the hotel they said it would be 15 to 20 mins and it didn't show up until about 30 minutes after I hung up. This happened time after time while we were staying there. The elevators sometimes didn't work and would keep opening their doors while we were trying to get to our floor. The customer service here will definitely have us going somewhere else in the future.

Great hotel, close to the bay.Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: The great breakfast in the morning, cleanliness, comfort.
Cons: When 6 people are listed on the hotel reservation, putting the equivalent amount of towels in the room would be nice.
Location: In San Francisco for a family trip, the local Fisherman's Wharf, tourist traps and roaming around were all great!
Hotel was very comfortable and pleasing for 2 adults, 4 children. Embassy was very accommodating and did everything to ensure our comfort. The only downside, the front desk ladies didn't know much about the city and what the city had to offer for travelers. Outside of that, the hotel was clean and provided a very nice breakfast in the morning hours that was not very limiting for any late wakers.
