Pros: The hotel seemed to be updated but was very basic
Cons: I could hear the people above us all night long. The happy hour was very minimum with a make shift bar and bags of Chex Mix for appetizers.
For the money it was fairly basic but nice proximity to the airport which was why we stayed here one night.

Right on the ocean!

We had a king size bay view room and it was very nice. Fun to watch the airplanes coming and going. Nice and quiet even with a lot of Chicago bears fans there :) GO 9ers!!

Weekend getaway.

Nice view of the planes landing. Older property. The first room had a wet spot in front of the fridge. Sofa bed very uncomfortable. Metal frame felt sharp. The parking lot was littered with trash. For the price we paid, I expected more. I almost got whiplash from the shuttle driver. Indoor swimming pool was small.

Pros: Breakfast buffet. Nice for families.
Cons: pool maintenance and staff attendance when highly used
Hotel was run down. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool are was widely used and very unclean. Staff (engineer) did not attend to very unkept pool area. Overall the stay was good. Beds comfortable bathroom clean.

What you see on Expedia is not what you get...

Pros: The grounds are immaculate! Large hotel with room for guests to roam around and not feel bunched up. The tropical feel inside is wonderful.
Cons: The pool had tons of chlorine in it, although not a huge issue because I washed it off it was still relatively strong for such a small pool.
Location: Not too far from San Francisco it only took us about 20 min by freeway. The airport is only 10 minutes away.
I booked through Expedia and the description of the room sold me, " Deluxe room w/ bay view" , well needless to say we got a room with a view of a parking lot. When I checked in I asked the nice man if my room was overlooking the water, and he said it was not because those rooms are actually cost like $300 , I was a little insulted by this. I told him that on the website it clearly states a bay front room (not all rooms are facing the water). Believe me I understand the entire hotel is directly facing the water but some rooms have better views than other and my room should of been one of them. When I got up to my room and noticed my parking lot view room and called downstairs and explained that I had booked a "bay view" room, the front desk said that Expedia has the wrong room description, and for the price I paid I was in the correct room. Despite the unsettling room issue upon check-in, the hotel is beautiful! It feels like a little piece of Hawaii in the Bay area. My morning walk was perfect after my complimentary breakfast, and the grounds are nicely kept. Overall, my experience was nice but next time I think I'll book my room directly with the hotel to avoid confusion. However, the hotel should take a little responsibility and not blame it on Expedia.
