Awful check in.

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Husband waited at the empty desk for 10 minutes before being told they were full while I unknowingly booked a room on the phone in the car. Went in and waited for at least 10 more minutes at the empty desk with a lobby full of waiting guests. Got checked in. Key didn't work in the door. Had to go back down to get help. At least we got a room! A party who had booked 3 rooms was told they could have one for all 6 adults and 4 children.

Great Value

Cons: We were bothered by noises from the room above; sounded like the bathroom fan all night?
Location: We took day-trips into San Francisco, Point Reyes, and Half Moon Bay.
We were thankful for excellent hotel management. Location was convenient for our needs. Price was very competitive.

Not a bad place to stay

I thing they overcharge a bit for this place but it was clean and convenient to the areas where I was working. The hallway on the fifth floor constantly smelled like pot though. Other than that great stay.

pleasant stay except a issue with service animal

Posted Jan 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
I upon checking in showed a letter from my physician stating my animal is in fact a service animal and at first was still told no apparently front desk staff hasn't properly read the fine print on pet policy I pointed purgatory it clearly states no pet deposited if animal is a service animal then I decided to stay another night and the girl working her name was Lisa again questioned my service animal I explained I had shown it day before to front desk upon, checking in and she said well I need to see it again I told her I was disabled and not feeling well and she insisted I look for the letter a second time I showed it to here tried to use my pre paid visa which does not have printed name yet and the card was being mailed to me but I had enough funds on the card and other forms of identification she then said she still couldn't accept it and wanted the MasterCard on file that all of my income goes on once a month I explained I don't feel comfortable with that one being in a file and she refused to do it any other way with attitude also every morning I went downstairs for they're breakfast I got dirty looks from this girl it was ridiculous the maid was nice but maintenance and front desk except two employees during my stay were extremely rude and unprofessional

Distance

Posted Jan 2, 2014
It's very far away from the Caltrain station if you are walking it. You'll have to walk on the freeway. Not a problem if you have your own vehicle! Nice staff. Very good for a budget stay!

clean and safe.

Posted Dec 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
I chose this hotel for the location. My room was clean and safe, but no extras/ frills. I stayed for business so it was fine, not a good location for a family trip. Plenty of parking and helpful front desk. I would stay here again in a pinch but it wouldn't be my first choice.
