“SF Downtown”
It was all good, especially the attention afforded us by the manager.
“!!”
Loved the room, loved the service, loved the convenient location...will definitely stay there again whenever we go back to SF.
“Fantastic Four Season's”
Great hotel. Great location. Super customer service. Wonderful experience. Only negative-family friendly pool (at the nearby Marriott) was inconvenient and unpleasant.
“Beautiful hotel, wonderful service.”
You can tell its a 5 star hotel. Super clean, delicious beds, big TV. It is located about 1 block from Union Square where all the nice stores are and 4 blocks from Chinatown. Walking distance to almost everything.
“very nice hotel”
Extremely satisfied with the hotel!! nice location too... close to shops and interesting places...
“Not exactly what I expected from Four Seasons for the price paid”
Concierge service was lacking at this hotel. A few different requests were either not attempted or were attempted but either not completed or not accurate. The response when questioned about a couple of these incidents was not very customer service oriented and that was disappointing. The other times we have stayed at the Four Seasons the staff has beant over backwards to OFFER things to us. This hotel it was hard to make everyday things like catching cabs, renting a car and chilling a bottle of champagne happen. :o(
“Luxury - not sophisticated - Hotel”
While the amenities (Sports Club LA) and the location make it worth recommending this hotel... the decor, service and layout leaves a LOT to be desired. The decor is minimal and borderline bleak - less opulent than other Four Seasons Hotels. The service is inconsistent and lacking - you will find yourself stranded without an attendant in site, waiting too long for a cab, and never greeted by the staff which always seems to be preoccupied with something else. And the confusing layout makes it hard to find your way around - the back entrance is on back alleys and the multiple elevators keep you turned and lost on your way back to the room.
“Great hotel”
Nice Lobby, room and Gym
“Don't book a "Superior Room" if any chance a girl will stay with you”
I went up to San Francisco primarily to go on a date with a girl. I booked a Superior Room on Expedia. The room itself was fine enough but you get a lower floor. In my case, I was on the 6th floor which is just one above the check-in lobby. It was the first time I've stayed in any hotel where I looked UP at ventilation shafts and plants. It was embarrassing opening the curtains and that was the view she saw. Probably should have spent the extra bucks to get a better room. Getting a taxi sucks. Takes a while, although the front door guy does try pretty hard to get you one. They've got one hotel car but good luck trying to book it.
“Perfect location - made my husband's birthday extra special!”
We had a wonderful stay at The Four Seasons. The entire staff was gracious and accomodating. We loved the menu in the lounge - we ended up eating dinner in the lounge for three nights of our weeks stay. The gym facilities were awesome - helped us to work off some of the delicious food we had at the hotel. The location is perfect - central to everything there is to do in San Francisco. When checking in I mentioned we were celebrating my husband's birthday. On the night before his birthday they sent an incredible birthday desert to our room - a very nice touch to an incredible stay.
