Clean and close to everything. parking is free.Posted Feb 25, 2014
The hotel is nice and clean but the walls are so thin that you could hear voice from outside. They provide earplugs and we didn't use it coz the noise from the street which the cars passing by are tolerable but not with this one, around 2:30 am, people arrived here and probably they just came from the club. They hang out by the hallway next to the stairs and our room is just next to it. It was so terrible, they were dancing and singing and sounds and feels like they were inside our room. It was so loud,I could hear clearly what they are talking about. So I called the front desk right away. Everything should be OK except with this experience.

Nice and cheap in an expensive cityPosted Feb 18, 2014
Just what we were looking for to save money for eating out and sightseeing. Friendly and helpful staff. Only complaints are thin walls and steep hills away from city attractions however for the price it was perfect.

Very noisy rooms! Otherwise very nice!Posted Feb 17, 2014
The first night, we stayed at a ground-floor room, which was horrible! The room itself was very nice and had everything we needed, but we we're hardly able to sleep (eventough we used earplugs!), we had very noisy neighbours and we heard the traffic very, very loud! At the next day, the lady at the recpetion was nice enough to give us another room which was located at the 4th floor. Here it was much better, I still slept with the complimentary earplugs, but it was okay. The rooms itself were fine.

For the cost and location pretty good for SFPosted Feb 16, 2014
Very friendly staff, good location. Served its purpose for a short city trip. Room was a little musty but that's this city.

The area around the hotel is nice and safe.Posted Feb 12, 2014
Cons: They should do a better caulking of the doors and windows so the noise from the street is not that loud
Location: easy to move in transit. nice restaurants around. The area is pretty safe
too noisy but clean and tidy. hotel staff are nice. It's easy to move by transit from the hotel because of its location. For the price the hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast is awful but there are lots of places nearby where you can get a nice breakfast.

Great valuePosted Jan 24, 2014
Location: Walk to Fisherman's wharf, Union square, a cute neighborhood on Union.
Stayed here 2 nights in mid January. PROS: Free parking, good location, free breakfast (donuts, coffee, and fruit), mini fridge and microwave in room, and of course price. I didn't give it a 5 star rating because its not a 5 star hotel. In response to other reviews: Noise was not an issue (I stayed Tues & Wed. in January) but they did provide earplugs in the room. There was some cosmetic wear n tear noticeable in the room, but it did not ruin my ability to sleep. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who just wants a place to sleep/shower close to many areas of SF.
